I grew up listening to The Irish Rovers because of my mother. I think I knew their music before I knew the popular 80's hits! Still listening today, and this has become my newest favorite song. It's nice to hear music that isn't vulgar or derogatory and that you can let your children listen to without having to worry about negative influences.

I am actually am Indian and I recently discovered this band and now i wonder why didn't i discovered them earlier or why they are so underrated in other countries like in mine. I mean even though it's Irish music what's bad in listening it as long as you like it. I don't have words to describe how good their songs are. I truely appreciate their work and music❣️

My grandparents emigrated from Ireland as teens and got to work making a life; they weren't told how important it is to pass along the stories, the language, and the music of their childhoods. What I learned of my Irishness was though the Rovers on their turntable; always and only the Rovers. It is a gossamer thin but unbreakable strand to my past, my people's people, and the forgotten/lost culture that many of us experience. Thank you.

Wow. I eally enjoyed this, and I realized something. With all the piano and such, and the way the beats work at points between the verses, it actually reminds me of the fairly complex pieces you find in some anime series for some reason. It's hard to pinpoint exactly what it's reminding me of but definiely a couple of Studio Ghibli ones. Of course those don't ahve the irish instruments, it goes without saying, but this piece just oozes style and honestly, is very, very well composed.
