Many people think turkey vultures are ugly, but I disagree. In addition to being beautiful (in their own way), they also provide a vital ecological role taking care of carcasses, especially roadkill.
This group was catching some sun on an early February morning when I filmed them. But apparently not everything was as peaceful as the morning.
