Hiya! I saw your original comment but I'll reply here - my voiceover start was several years ago as well but mine was mainly through the connections I built. My first professional VA job was a favour for a friend. I reached out to people, asked to do voices for small projects and even voiced some of my own stuff I had produced. I've also been in a few voiceover/acting classes as well (I studied Acting as a college degree for 3 years) Your best bet is to go to Dee Bradley Baker's website iwanttobeavoiceactor.com/ and have a gander at the articles on there. Wishing you all the luck with your VA journey and success! 💛
@@AmberTheFangirl thanks- I couldn’t find the video I’d commented on first so decided to recomment- sorry if it seems I’m spamming you- can I ask what you make of the RU-vid vids I’ve got? I think some of them are a bit cringy (the lighting in a couple of them; my unbrushed hair lol,)- some are in shorts, some are as full videos. Would you recommend the Gravy for the Brain route too? If you don’t mind me asking what was your first VO route? And is it “easier” (for want of a better term) to get into it through the theme park route rather than animation?
