How incredibly fortunate you were to have been at this intimate show with Paul! I would have given most anything outside of those I hold most dear to be there!
I absolutely LOVE Abe (the drummer) relishing his wine at the beginning of the clip. I know I thanked you in the comments of another clip from this show, but you've really done an inestimable service to our cultural history by posting this gig. Bless you.
snidelywhiplash thank you so much! I am so grateful I was able to be there, and I wanted so much to share it with all the amazing fans of Sir Paul McCartney
OH WOW. A truly masterful performance by the band here, especially Paul. I cant tell you how good this made me feel at 9:25 am on a Tuesday morning. Thank You.
Wade Hutson it was when Sir Paul was in the area for the Desert Trip music festival. There was an announcement the morning of this show and it was first come first serve so very tricky to get in.
Wow!!!!! This is amazing...and it even looks a bit like my local bar in Dublin..my missus would never believe me if I said " I'm just going down the pub love, I think Paul mc cartney is on tonight..lol..well done and thanks for the post..
I remember when this song was first made public I was dating Judy its was longest playing song under the sky The radio play it cause it was Beatle having the 45 without BMI is plus ...
Im not really a guy who is a " fan/ fanatic " about any celebrity ...we all breath the same air no ? But I learned that Paul did a route 66 trip a few years ago and must have passed within 2 blocks of my house ? Where was I ? ..DAMMIT .
So sad to see the fall of Paul McCartney, once playing stadiums with the Beatles now, years later, relegated to small clubs half filled clubs and low pay. Im guessing, he is just a few years away from the nursing home circuit.
John Tsoi we happen to live about 30 minutes from where the concert took place. We saw an announcement on Facebook through the venue and jammed over there right away! It took a LOT of waiting and standing, but this experience was VERY well worth it!!
oh man. heaven. pure heaven. I saw Camper Van Beethoven here and Jenny Lewis. On my time travel list is seeing Beatles at The Cavern. This seems awful close.
