I just discovered Kenton yesterday and wow! He is one of the best singers I've ever heard. His range is out of this world, and his attitude is so infectious. He throws everything he has into each song.

The musicianship and ensemble alchemy is so amazing on all of these.. seems it is the most impactful when the sick funk grooves and in the pocket parts are complimented by soul vocals like two or three of your lead singers have in spades, and honestly those are the videos that bring me to tears as a musician and human being.

This channel is my best RU-vid find of 2018. I've spent most of this Sunday listening to the full catalog. Good times. You guys are like eating whipped cream through the ears. Could listen almost endlessly. Kenton, that rythm section and the horns on this one could be a personal favorite among all of the insanely skilled lineups.

Kenton Chen's singing stands without peer - to ease the visual discord in this video (and possibly where ever he is seen) Kenton should have been in a be-dazzled trench-coat, a 70's pink velvet pimp hat with a huge feather, and a bad-ass zz-top beard... nothing less makes sense in conjunction with his vocal stature!
