Among the vintage clips you usually see Bullwinkle pull the lion, the tiger, the rhinoceros, and Rocky out of his hat, but you rarely see the one where he pulls a bear out of his hat.
Bobby Reynolds I agree. Also in the 2018 Amazon Prime Rocky and Bullwinkle Show Bullwinkle pulled two other things out of the hat. One is he pulled out another him and the second is he pulled out a monster tentacle.
The bear one was shown on the original 1950s shows but dropped from The Bullwinkle Show and the syndicated versions in 1961. I agree they should have kept it.
Loved the original five at the beginning of this video, the sixth one was alright, but that junk at the end - yuck! By the way, did anyone else notice that Rocky disappears during the first hat trick? (0:07).

On a lot of the early Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons there were continuity problems. Things like Rocky's goggles and Boris' mustache would disappear. I recall what I think was a "Mr. Know-It-All" segment where for a few frames Bullwinkle had no antlers!
Rocky: And now-- Bullwinkle: Hey, Rocky, watch me pull a Rabbit out of my hat! Rocky: But that trick never worked! Bullwinkle: This time for sure! PRESTO! (Pulls out Charlie Brown and see him) Well, I'm getting close! (puts Charlie Brown back in the hat and accidentally pulls out Linus) WHAT?! Linus: Do you mind? Bullwinkle: (puts Linus back in) Sorry! (accidentally pulls out Sally) Sally: Are you my sweet babboo? Bullwinkle: (slaps Sally multiple times) No, I am not your "Sweet Babboo"! (puts Sally back in the hat) Now go find Harold Angel! Rocky: Are you gonna be finished, Bullwinkle? Bullwinkle: No, not yet! (accidentally pulls out Peppermint Patty) Well, not to be confused with the candy! Peppermint Patty: ... Bullwinkle: (puts Peppermint Patty back in the hat) It may take a while, folks! (accidentally pulls out the glasses) Huh?! Marcie (off-screen): (grabs the glasses) Thanks, Moose! Bullwinkle: Meh! (pulls out a rabbit ear) Huh? (pulls out Bugs Bunny) Well, what do you know? It's Bugs Bunny! Bugs Bunny: Eh, What's Up, Doc? Rocky: And now, here's something you would really like! Sheesh, what a way that Bullwinkle accidentally pulled Charlie Brown and his friends (and his sister, Sally) And the way Marcie called Bullwinkle moose... is because Bullwinkle is a moose! It's as if, throughout the industry, Stateside character/production design artists are using less-distinct shapes than they were using in the '60s-'90s.
I recently came across this clip of Carl Ballantine doing comedy-magic: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4pzufYvRS_E.html I grew up watching this Rocky and Bullwinkle gag maybe a million times, and saw Carl Ballantine maybe… 100k times? But never doing magic. So I didn’t make this connection until now. Googling a bit I don’t find ANY references connecting Ballantine and Bullwinkle, but: is Bullwinkle just an animated Carl Ballantine…?(!)

I remember seeing the skits from 0:16-1:16 on ABC(Australian Broadcasting Corporation)in 1995. However in the Australian airings they didn't show the one with the bear.
The one with the bear was mostly shown on the black and white R&HF shows which were on ABC (American Broadcasting Company) in the late '50s. It was dropped when the show went into syndication...and also from The Bullwinkle Show...in the early '60s.

Australian Broadcasting Corporation airs shows in Australia different to how American Broadcasting Corporation airs them in USA.

I wish they would make a new version of Rocky and Bullwinkle only they would unravel mysteries about anyting like whatever happened to Rocky's family? I wish someone would make an episode like that that would make a wonderful adventure and I will like to call this cartoon of the Rocky and Bullwinkle show someday in the future I called it Rocky and Bullwinkle moose mysteries or squirrel secrets? Won't that make a great Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon? Well I have been a fan of Rocky and Bullwinkle ever since I can remember let's just say it would be like a mixture of Scooby-Doo Pokemon and avatar The last Airbender there would be new friends new enemies and new plots they're also mysteries and secrets to unravel especially in frostbite falls and I could picture their friends Mr Peabody & Sherman when these men an orphan girl and she told Mr Peabody & Sherman that she had a long-lost older brother he's been lost for 5 years and she's only 10 but when Mr Peabody ask where her parents are she told them that they died in a car accident she told Mr Peabody & Sherman absolutely everything about her long-lost brother who disappeared five years ago and then afterwards when the Little orphan girl was resting on the couch Mr Peabody & Sherman we're having a father and son time out in the backyard but the little girl who I call Chloe that would be a perfect name anyway she was looking around a bit and she had a thought about the wayback machine and when she found it she just had to use it for only one good reason to find out the truth of why her brother's disappearance five years ago so she's at the time and the place of where and when she had lost her elder brother Conner and that's when mr. Peabody had a hunch and has Chloe got into the way back Mr Peabody told Sherman to get suction cups and as Chloe was about to travel through 5 years ago Mr Peabody & Sherman were attached to the way back and the zoomed to 5 years ago in the past and ask Chloe went out of the way back and to find her brother Mr Peabody & Sherman had to follow her and then Chloe found Conner from 5 years ago and when she was about to find out the truth that's when it happened he didn't die or get lost in fact he was kidnapped by people known as the pottsilvanian spies it was very shocking the Chloe's brother Connor has been captured and as Chloe was about to save her brother mr. Peabody dragged her away and took her back to the wayback machine Chloe said she was sorry and she told Mr Peabody & Sherman the reason why she use the way back mr. Peabody understood but he told her (you cannot change the past Chloe!) But then Sherman said (but you did learn something from it you learn that your brother is still alive!) And Chloe was relieved and she also realized the truth of why her brother never came back home but the question is where could he be the mr. Peabody asked Chloe who were those people who took your brother? Then Chloe answered (they call themselves the pottsilvanian spies!) And that's when mr Peabody had another hunch so he called Rocky and Bullwinkle Dudley Do-Right and the rest of their friends and told them an urgent message that there is a plot that has to be undone and as Rocky and Bullwinkle and all their friends were about to start on the journey to save Chloe's brother Conner Chloe told them that it is imperative that she would go with them because she has no one else to take care of her and the only family member she ever has is her brother and they said it's okay as long as Chloe remain safe but little did they realize that Boris and Natasha were tracking them down and sometimes I could picture Boris and Natasha has team rocket from Pokemon you know what I mean? do you get the picture?

The last gag ruined a perfectly good gag. He’s suppose to pull a monster out of the hat, not a monster coming out of the curtains; what’s worse is that he was actually going to get a rabbit.
@@MunkkeyBot No, I meant that the joke calls for Bullwinkle pull something out of the hat, but it wasn’t gonna be a rabbit; they ruined it by having a monster come from behind the curtain, rather than the hat. Edit: turns out they did have a version where Bullwinkle succeeded in his magic act; it’s so good that rabbits start coming out of the hat by themselves… and are actually Rabbits originating from Caerbannog.
I guess to break up his color scheme. Before you had to paint every cel by hand, and buy each kind of paint you were gonna use, so it helped to keep a character's colors simple, but with computers it costs nothing to add a little detail to a character.
I like the one where Rocky says, "But that trick never works!". Bullwinkle replies, "This time for sure!" It's the Covid vaccination campaign in a nutshell.
Well, if we didn't have morons running around, refusing to get vaxed, it would prevent the virus from mutating further and making it harder to stop. But, too many Americans got D- in Science and Civics classes but Straight As in thinking their opinions are as valid as facts.
