GhostlysmokeTony I was not familiar with this scripture. I just read it. I’m not sure about your interpretation, but Christians are taught that a wife is to be a help-mate. It is actually mistaken to think that in Christianity the roles of men and women and husband and wife are not equal. There is equality in importance to the family and to sinister - just that their roles are different. Also, one of the main reasons why we are to not be yoked with non-believers is what do you do when you have children? What religion will they be raised in? If both parents are of one religion then there will be no debate there.
