James Llyod If you didn't notice, there were quotes around the words "Someday i'll pay the bills with this tiny guitar" meaning that it was a direct quote from Max himself. So....
Max is special because he has such an expressive voice. Whatever he sings, you can always tell that he puts a lot of thought into the words and the meaning behind the song. Go Max! You're the best!
So I basically melted when I saw his face but I died when I heard him sing. If a guy sang me this I would love them instantly. I hope they listen to Max's advice!
Hey there, Delilah What's it like in New York city? I'm a thousand miles away But, girl, tonight you look so pretty Yes, you do Times Square can't shine as bright as you I swear, it's true Hey there, Delilah Don't you worry about the distance I'm right there if you get lonely Give this song another listen Close your eyes Listen to my voice, it's my disguise I'm by your side Oh, it's what you do to me Oh, it's what you do to me Oh, it's what you do to me Oh, it's what you do to me What you do to me Hey there, Delilah I know times are gettin' hard But just believe me, girl Someday I'll pay the bills with this guitar We'll have it good We'll have the life we knew we would My word is good Hey there, Delilah I've got so much left to say If every simple song I wrote to you Would take your breath away I'd write it all Even more in love with me you'd fall We'd have it all Oh, it's what you do to me Oh, it's what you do to me Oh, it's what you do to me Oh, it's what you do to me A thousand miles seems pretty far But they've got planes and trains and cars I'd walk to you if I had no other way Our friends would all make fun of us And we'd just laugh along because we'd know That none of them have felt this way Delilah, I can promise you That by the time that we get through The world will never ever be the same And you're to blame Hey there, Delilah You be good, and don't you miss me Two more years and you'll be done with school And I'll be makin' history like I do You know it's all because of you We can do whatever we want to Hey there, Delilah, here's to you This one's for you Oh, it's what you do to me Oh, it's what you do to me Oh, it's what you do to me Oh, it's what you do to me What you do to me, oh oh, woah, woah Oh woah, oh Oh
Every video you make I'm absolutely at a loss for words.. But the ones where you play your ukulele I'm just at a loss for breath.. You can never fail! Your talent and voice are so amazing..
I love his voice!! But I think the chords aren't perfect for this song. Maybe it's just me who has no knowledge of music, but to me it sounds a little strange. Although, great cover!!!
I hate the ukulele with this. Sorry, it just does not compliment your voice for this song. I think it would sound much better with a guitar. Still a good cover though, keep it up.
Oddly "Hey There Delilah" makes me cry because it was the last song I listened to with my older cousin Andrea before she passed away about 6 years ago. The fact that she passed on my birthday makes me even more sad..
Stop. Stop with the candles. Stop with the ukelele. Stop with your shirt. Stop with your necklace. Stop with your perfect face because ya know what?! YOU'RE PERFECT. THIS SONG IS PERFECT. OMG I LOVE THIS. I LOVE YOU.
I love how everything about the video is so simple so the attention is focused on max's awesome voice! its also totally obvious that he's singing this "to" his girlfriend which makes it real. you can hear the emotion so its raw. Love this one! so glad i got to meet you this summer! keep it up!
I love the set, nice touch with the candles. I love the ukulele; I've always loved the sound they produce. I love your voice, in all it's unique-ness. Fantastic cover, I like this sing even more now thanks to you Max.
