Jim Varney was a great guy! It's a shame he didn't make it to the digital age! Just imagine what he could have done with green screen effects and digital cameras! Computer graphics and special effects! He knew the importance of being Ernest! He is greatly appreciated and missed!!!!!!!!!😂
If he did make it to that era, he would’ve made “Master of Disguise” way cooler. Less crass humor and he would make the characters he made look cooler than what Carvey did.
those are some really vague contest rules. It doesn't restrict how many guesses can be included in one mailing. It doesn't restrict the number of times I can send in a mailing. There's a reason for fine print that are pages long
16:13 - ive seen the outtakes/mistakes compilation of this scene, he almost gets everything right until the last line, it's very funny everybody cracks up. I am glad to have seen that, I think everyone who made these videos had a great time doing them, Jim included.
A quick google search doesnt reveal a winner to the $10,000. I imagine if there WAS a winner I'd be big news somewhere. Guess it just fizzled out. You'd think if the video was popular enough SOMEONE would have gotten the right answer by pure chance alone.
OmikronWeapon I was just wondering who won the money. I lived in a city not far from where Jim Varney lived, and I never saw on the news at the time who won.

One of the hosts talked to a man who worked on the video in question-- who said that there was an entry who wrote out the total of utterances in hashmarks with no actual written total.
