I wonder if Nintendo should remake this game? Now that AI and voice recognition is far more advanced, they could probably do a better job with the voice controls.

"Hey you Pikachu" was my childhood game. My parents got it for me when I was little and I LOVED it. Unfortunately, I found out that it was a rental game and I cried in the store when we returned it (I was 6!).
Now that I think about it, when PBG was counting how many times he said Pikachu he showed the clips. Wouldn't this mean he would have to include the clips again creating an endless loop of Pikachu?

I miss this part of my childhood. Coming home to watch RU-vid on my Wii U or my tablet, avoiding homework, and playing video games till I got bored will be a time I will always miss.
when i was five yrs old this game came out and I was so excited to play it, when i took it out of the box and left it alone for five mintues to get cookies or something i came back to my little baby brother eating the microphone, meaning i couldn't play the game -.-

I remember rewatching this so many times in 2013 - 2014 and I just remembered it and came back to watch it again. I absolutely love this video and this channel.
Personally, the game's voice controls worked really well for me, and considering the target age group of the game, I kinda knew not to expect the awesome hangout days everyone else would have if they had their own pokemon. For what it is, I thought it was a pretty decent game

Hard to belive its been six (6) years sense this video, but i always find this one way or another, it is among my favorites, because it was uploaded the day i came home from the hospital after a surgery and had been at the hospital for what felt like weeks, but only 4 days there. It was the first video that made me laugh again after getting home and holds a special place for me on the internet. I was watching the yoshis story for the N64 on the hospital multiple times to remain somewhat happy, becaue i didnt quite know where i was in life, but thanks to the yoshi and this video i always enjoy some PBG, and always havin a laugh when re-visiting some of the old stuff on the YT. Am also very glad to see this channel has grown so much. Thank you PBG for makin me laugh! :D
I loved playing 'Hey you Pikachu' with my cousins . I'd wish Nintendo would make a new version where you could chose other Poke'mon to interact with. Just call it 'Hey you Poke'mon'
There is new hope, seeing that Pokemon Snap is finally getting a sequel. Nintendo will see that nostalgia hits hard with their fans who's been with them since the Red and Blue days.
I would say that it makes sense that Oak hasn't researched the behaviors of wild Pokémon. They have stated in the games that Professor Birch is the on who studies that. Professor Oak is also too old to go searching for wild Pokémon. Why do you think he makes his grandson and the only other child living in his town do all of his work for him?
I think he is senile which explains why he could build that device. It also explains why he can't remember the name of your character in Red/Blue/Green/Yellow

Put a grain of sand in a glass every time you hear the word Pikachu, I can’t get in my room anymore. I watched the whole Pokémon anime and not a single episode has said the word Pikachu more than you have here.
Ironic it ended up 46 times you said it, just switch the numbers around and you get 64, as in the N64 which the game is on. Just something interesting to point out.
I was so pumped when I got this as a kid, I thought Pikachu could do my homework, yeah I wasn't too bright lol. I certainly got my parents money worth out with the time I spent playing it though. It was pretty cool as a kid back in the day.
