As near to perfection as I've ever heard. And I'm not young!

I've listened to dozens of version of this song at this point, and I keep coming back to this one.

Solemn and stirring, almost like Kolbeinn Tumason before his death in the Battle of Víðines

I think that this is absolutely stunning and hauntingly beautiful to listen too. I echo a previous statement, it's really challenging to make 5 men sound like a full chorus unless you are singing with really talented vocalists. As a singer myself, that level of talent takes time and practice. The tone, color, pitch and vocal dynamics for this piece is perfect! Excellent job!

I like this better than the German version. The choir is mixed very well, and it is absolutely beautiful.
