Hundreds of wireless pagers exploded at the same time across Lebanon on Tuesday, leading to claims Israel could have hacked the devices of Hezbollah operatives. Ex-IDF and NSA analysts told Forbes the attackers likely intercepted the devices, tampered with their software and turned them into explosives that can be detonated from anywhere. Ok, I'm not exactly technology inclined especially with pagers. How do you make pagers explode without the pagers having explosives in them? If you can't make them explode without explosives then how did they (Israel or anyone else) get explosives in that many pagers and know exactly who would have them. Sorry if this is stupid questions but I am legitimately confused.

Israel intercepted the shipment of pagers and hid these little micro bombs in them that were set to go off once they received a certain signal.

Hezbolla should consider the generation of phones before smart phones. All you can do is make calls, no internet, no Netflix, no Google. My husband still has one and refuses to get a smart phone. Best of all, you cannot track someone's location on the older flip-phones.

By using a very small charge, designed to only injure or kill the single person closest to it, hiding it in a device that's uniquely used by militants, and detonating it at a time when those militants are most likely to be carrying said device. That's how it's not terrorism. By going after the terrorists, and making an effort to reduce casualties of uninvolved civilians. Which is the exact opposite of terrorism. Still confused?
