Hezbollah says it fired over 200 rockets towards Israel

Hezbollah sources have told Al Jazeera that they have fired a mix of 200 rockets and explosive drones from southern Lebanon at several Israeli military positions across the border.
It is the second day rockets have been launched.
Multiple fires broke out in the occupied Golan Heights and in the region of Galilee.
Israel says its striking targets in southern Lebanon.
This latest escalation follows the killing of a senior Hezbollah Commander in southern Lebanon on Wednesday.
A vehicle was targeted in the Haouch area in the city of Tyre.
Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant says the attack proved Israel could hit Hezbollah "everyday".
Al Jazeera’s Assed Baig is in Marjayoun in Southern Lebanon and Zeina Khodr in Beirut for the latest developments.

Another 60,000 new ultra orthodox conscripts need to be trained and prepared in a month from now. Not all, but a good portion.have to be ready. That's more spent resources. When operation gaza is wrapped up in a couple weeks, Lebanon will be invaded. I don't think it'll be full scale invasion but enough of one to make sure all threats are off the border. "The 'North is lost" bc hezbo successfuly made 80,000 israelis leave home. A couple dozen ppl have died (civilians and reserve soldiers) and that was enough for ppl to not feel safe, fair enough. That phrase wasn't said by the IDF to be clear, it was by U.S secretary of state A. Blinken. But he's also the same guy who said conflict in the middle east was practically a thing of the past maybe a month or two before Oct 7.
