That's an awesome cutter Jamie. I have been wanting a new paper cutter for a long time but I keep putting off getting one. I really don't know what I need since I don't cut a lot of paper. This one looks like it would do any job. I wonder if my husband would give up space in his office so I can keep my space all to myself. lol TFS

We bought this guillotine, is used to cut photobooks, but the blade just work for 10 books of 40 pages, i can believe is too cheap the blade

Yep, blade became dull quite fast. And dont know if and how to sharpen knife

This was a very thoughtful video to put together, because the instructions are not even really instructions. I was completely puzzled and lost. Thank God for the internet and youtube! I got a lot of loose items and I am not even sure where they go or what to do with some, so this video does help with something things. Thank you so much!!!!!

Wow, I have cutter envy, although I'm sure I don't need to be around long blades lol... I wish I had a working table as long as that, though, not that I have enough room for it. My craft room runneth over. I have a smaller, less scary guillotine cutter. :-) Thanks for the demo. Ya'll be safe.

+Rose Ryan exactly a friend got one & yeah, but I love it cuts like butter with no effort, the leverage on that handle is wonderful. . . most of my space is used for storage . . . one day I will weed through all that LoL xo thanks for always leaving such kind comments & for watching more xoxo

I have purchased several trimmers over the years and am very unhappy with the uneven cutting when cutting card stock. After I purchased yet another paper trimmer last year with no success of a straight cut, I have decided to give the guillotine cutter a try. I came across your video today, and I want to thank you for demonstrating the setup. It seems very few items come with instructions anymore. I just wanted to tell you that I appreciate you sharing your knowledge of how to. Thank you!

Thanks for the video, how is the accuracy on this cutter? Looking to cut down paper for books and need it to be precise or at least consistent! Any input would be great, thanks!

+Dan Schmahl As with all new tools, test for the correct sizing before you do your main project . measure twice cut once I have found the cuts to be accurate (for my use anyway) and Consistency is good, be sure to tighten the platen and the paper guide, just don't over tighten. You will also want to make sure you have tamped the papers and keep them as straight as you can when placing on the table. Good Luck & Happy Safe Cutting ps thanks for watching

I just received mine and I cut my first stack and have found that it isn't cutting all the way through. I can't figure out how to straighten it out. Have you had this experience?

Oh my goodness, no I haven't had that issue. I suggest you contact HFS directly, they should have contact information on their web site, OR it you got it through Amazon, contact seller there. I was trying to figure out what the curved plastic pieces were... none of mine were attached and they are not listed in the directions... Thanks for the demo! One little point, you have to trim the side trimming on the bottom to get the feet on. Took me a minute to figure that one out :/
