HFS II Review - My wife is now a Xero Shoes Believer! 

It's a shame because I really like the sole on them. I suggest people purchase the zelen and forza runner.

Have 800 miles on them and sole is nearly gone. Normally on the original HFS I would get 3k miles on them. Just tried whitin and sole is identical to Whitin and Vibrams now. Cost to produce this sole is cheaper. However only positive now is the fabric now holds up a little better which is a major complaint with everyone on the original HFS.

@Werkmaster666 would you get the zelen or forza runner or just look else where. The zelem is just a recycled upper with the same sole but no welded components. And the forza runner is a sock like shoe with the same sole as the hfs.

Have tried Helen and forwarded and the 360 and Soles have been updated on them as well. Do not like. Shoes as mentioned are not flexible and have little to no ground feel. The HFS 2 is a thicker sole but same material as the Vibrams Vapor. Personally the HFS 2 was made to be longer lasting due to the short life the HFS was getting for most people. Again I never could get beyond 3k miles on original sole the vibrams vapor because it was a paper thin sole was about 1k miles but the sole is made by the exact same manufacturer in China so it is extremely unlikely that it is different material. Personally the cost of the xero shoe incorporates cost for a second shoe manufacturing cost is about 20 bucks a shoe. Liked their original sole good balance of everything but new sole is garbage. Can't wear non flexible shoes because of my muscles and joints. Also you should note or update your video to advise to size half to 1 whole size up since they are running smaller.

@Werkmaster666 I could have sworn the zelen is pretty much identical to the hfs as they share the same sole but it may not be as flexible. The forza runner has no tongue so it is a different feel and is like a sock but people really like that one, it also shredded a few ounces too but it may not be as durable because it has less welded components and more mesh

I was just asking my wife about this, she said she hasn’t had any issues with them being slippery. I’m not exactly sure how different the treads are between the prio and this one but no complaints here so far. Hope that helps!

This is not medical advice- just my opinion. If it was me and the pain was external (like if it is rubbing wrong) I would try some different socks or mole skin. They may also be too tight and I might try a size up? If it was internal, it might be caused by strain from adjusting to barefoot style shoes. If pain persists I’d probably seek medical attention.

I haven’t - I’ll need to look into that. Do you recommend them?
