The Quest 3, with its passthrough capability, has opened up long awaited possibilities in the world of Augmented Virtuality flight simulation. Using Virtual Desktop and it's passthrough options with Color Passthrough by SpitIce offers an incredibly immersive package when coupled with the Heritage Flight Simulation Spitfire Mk.IX in MSFS2020.

We just bought a Q3 and are figuring out how to use passthrough in our homemade Fokker D7F sim pod. It has the potential of being pretty cool but an actual warbird to sim in? Brother, I am blown away! Congratulations! This is just outtasight! 👍

Thanks for great video sir glad I came across your video & am now subscribed to your channel.With a 3 screen monitor that I use in MSFS that I always enjoy FlyingIrons Spitfire IXC great bird!Being a New Zealander I mostly prefer basing my flights with it out of Ohakea NZOH in the sim as we have a Spitfire & Mustang based there.Some of my landings buttery smooth .Amazing what you can do in the sim! Thanks for great video .

Very good graphics and simulation, well done. Love the ability to also "look through" but would need a real cockpit for realism

Great video. What’s system specs including gpu are you using? Where in South Africa are you originally from? I used to live there and met an old ww2 spitfire pilot at a braai and chatted to him for hrs.
