I was aching for someone to ask him what HP’s (or his) position was regarding emulators and hardware calculators such as the Swiss Micro devices, since there is some considerable IP involved. Not to mention that they have at least 2 calculators (the DM15L and DM12L) that correspond to the current calculators listed on the HP website (the HP15C and HP12C, respectively).

Will the HP 35s be made again or will HP license another calculator that can be used on SAT/ACT/ABET-FE/PE exams?

Hopefully more college level calculators, which is *the* most important market.

@@JonDisnard How friendly would Agilent/Keysight be to TI calculators?

I once suggested to Cyrille that a protocol be implemented on the USB port of HP Prime, to print the results on any cheap and portable 80mm thermal printer. He said it wouldn't be a problem. he was doubtful whether it would benefit a large number of users. I disagree; When using the HP41CV, the ability to print was a huge difference compared to other calculators. Since it does not involve changes to the hardware, it would be a very welcome feature.

1. Could HP produce keycaps, with labels on the front (as well as the top)? Sure you need an emulator program to recognise those keys as calculator functions, but that would be a start. 2. Could HP produce a wireless keyboard, with these keycaps AND a screen? Similar to 12C, 15C, even 71 series.
