That is not going to happen for a number of reasons. Now here is the thing.......By the electrolysis of water it takes 55 Kilo Watts of electrical energy ( 74 horse power ) to produce 1 kilogram of hydrogen which has the energy equivalent of a gallon of gasoline. So exactly where is this huge amount of power going to come from....a 12 or 24 volt battery....an alternator....have you any idea how big a 55 Kw alternator is and how much horsepower is needed to reliably drive it to produce its rated output. See the problem with this nonsense...!! There are tens of thousands of engineers worldwide that have designed power stations, spacecraft and the modern world that surrounds you. The electrolysis of water is no dark secret, its been known since 1789. Do you think engineers are so dumb that they could not design a system to run an IC engine using this method. Its not done because its not practical, it would be be more expensive than buying and using gasoline. Believe me there is no free energy and that is a fact and not a conspiracy theory.

To naysayers like @jb, the fun here is in building a working model, thereafter measure it's efficiency or lack thereof. Science can never be advanced when we take static positions. Take for example the argument that hydrocarbons are more energy dense than batteries. Should it therefore follow that it will never make sense to experiment with EVs?

Salut, multumesc frumos. Aceste celule merg si la 24 V. pentru 220 trebuie facute putin diferit, nu am incercat inca. Poate in viitor. Da ar merge chiar si la o centrala ideea este ca trebuie facut cu energie regenerabila pentru a fi rentabil.

I generally use 316L stainless steel. now only 316L stainless steel. in this video I am not sure about the quality of stainless steel because the plates were bought 10 years ago, this generator is very old.

@@Inventive101 thanks for sharing the info, do you have any idea what alloy or metal is used to make HHO gas burner stove ?

@@rig_it_safe Thank you. It can be done with any material but it will degrade quickly. in general and advantageous is 316L stainless steel. It can be made of graphite and. I haven't tried yet
