"HI" - ASMR horror shortfilm by Bahaish Kapoor (2014) 

First horror movie where the character/person actually gets out of the house after seeing creepy stuff. So plus points for that!

Good horror but I m unable to understand what is happening actually and why? hope another part will explain

The moment when the little girl talked.... I was like,‘ mom! Where are you?' 😂😂😂😂👍🏻😅😅😅😨

The fact that she forgot that one pill makes me crazy.

It ends without explaining anything... Many things could work as a good twist here: perhaps the pills she takes are exatcly what is causing her hallucinations, perhaps the little girl is herself when young, perhaps there's no doctor, he's part of the hallucination, that's why she can never comunicate with him, etc... But it's too bad that we are left without any clue.

The real mystery here is how come she goes to sleep and wakes up with perfect makeup still?

Love how the water bottle is magically upright in the next shot at 5:00. That's just freakin perfect.

A Suggestion would be to set the color tone similar throughout the film. The dream sequence looks really good with blue tone. now i know the dream and reality have different temperature tones to distinguish one from another but after jumping from the nice looking cool tone of the dream, the warm shades of reality do not look good and create a sense of disorientation. a better idea would be to tone the shades of reality also cool and blue but not as much as in the dream sequence so the difference is clear but the overall shade of the film is similar.

Thank god there's at least one horror short film where the acting isn't over the top. Ok there's a few but still. Nearly every film they're either being stupidly over the top or way too chill. So good story and great acting

It's very rare to come across a short-film so well made. I loved the way you crafted every frame, nothing was direct, it gave a strong feeling that someone is watching the protagonist through out. Also to mention that the way you played with lights was very interesting. Every element of your film complemented to make it look grand despite of being very simple. To be honest I didn't get horrified while watching it still I enjoyed the experience. Looking forward to watch more brilliant stuff from your end. Cheers

Great flick. If I could offer one critique it's that the sound only has one perspective. No matter the camera angle or distance from the subject the sound is 100% the same level, with no changes. It jarred me out of my immersion a couple times.

The ghost right beside the fridge scared me

they should make a horror game on this and give it to pewds to play it

I have so many questions for this like who is the little girl and how did she die.....and why her mirrors were kind of being covered...and just so many more you but this was real good loved it

Not bad, no jump scares so that's good, cheap horror if you ask me. It had a good premise and use of sounds to instill fear, the only thing though that could have ended it better is maybe on the final floor have the ghost standing behind her or something since she was getting closer. That's just me though.

Before I start my mini-review (that nobody asked for but I'm posting anyway), let me just announce to the world that I have a new screen crush. Monica Gill, you are absolutely adorable. This short is perfect for younger/newcomers to the horror genre. There's a fine line between trope and cliche, homage and generic. HI falls into the latter category, taking most of it's components from better films. I'm not completely polarized, hear me out. There's some stuff to be liked here; it's well-filmed, cool bridge location, decent atmosphere. Also I like how the director tosses us clear clues on the history of the ghost and her intentions/reasons for terrorizing poor Monica Gill (leave her alone you mean stupid ghost!). But everything else from the ghost's appearance, to the 'scares' and overall story are all borrowed from better films. Like I said, if you're new to the genre or prefer your horror light, you most likely dug this. But as a seasoned horror junkie, it just left me in the mood to watch The Orphanage. Wait, I take that back. It left me in the mood to Google Monica Gill.

The direction of this flick was commendable barring the miniature of the insidious old lady, talaash plot (amir khan-2012), and predictive story. The director knows his art well. kudos.

Very well-crafted, feels like scenes from a feature-length movie.

the one thing this short film did was make people think. it made the viewer interested. this (short film) would be a good trailer for a full length movie . i'd watch it.

what happend in the ending btw the girl looked like Kim Kardashian.

I have to say I loved this! I watch a lot of short horrors and this one was very well made! One thing to point out is makeup. It sticks out when a female actress is at home late at night with freshly applied makeup. For night scenes, use less blush because the effect it creates under dim/scary lighting is distracting. Other than that I liked the premise and there was a genuinely creepy vibe.
