I kinda adore Rekka. She exudes so much positive energy, that I just can't hate her. She's passionate about her job and confident in own self worth. If it's true that the production department went THAT long without any defects under her leadership, then she totally deserves the right to brag about it.
Well going by the "Days without defects" in the QA-1ml fight adds up to 2.7 Million years, I think her numbers might be a bit inflated. But damn if she isn't really cool and honestly seemed more keen on doing the job of Security then security was.
Yeah feel bad she sploded. Woulda been cool if they were just brainwashed and after the bossfight they joined you as the teleporting character abilities
@@shellbullet37 Kinda wish that when you beat a boss you kidnapped them and threw them in a dungeon like area and could talk to them after their defeat.
@@leighbelk769 lol did you play the game? Sounds like you havent cause they do that to one boss xD. I meant that they were working brainwashed, its the story, and beating them clears the brainwashing :P
Rekka also means raging fire in japanese considering her hair in the boss health meter got red and yellow signifying the colors of flames but calling her a truck is much more hilarious due to her fighting style
I love how they squeeze in characterization for all the bosses in the call intros alone. Korsica is just sitting down, no nonsense and attentive to the meeting and is actually the first one to notice Chai. Roquefort is polishing up his monocle, somewhat restrained next to the others. Kale is tending to something just offscreen, before he focuses on what he expects to be a standard call, somewhat conceited. Mimosa meanwhile is in a dress room using one of her robot employees as a seat, and bats away the other one attempting to apply hairspray. And Zanzo is just preparing a dramatic anime-villain reveal where he spins around... completely undermined by being accidentally muted. Twenty bucks says Rekka's reveal would've been a flex or some wrestler pose the instant the spotlight turned on... if she weren't blown up and Chai taking her spotlight instead (literally).
I love when Rekka thumps her fist to start playing her theme music, it starts playing, and Chai looks at his chest because WTF did she just hijack his MP3 Player?
5:00 Everyone remembers the first time they get hit by this move, nowadays it's nothing, you can just jump or dodge away from it, but for a newcomers first time playing, this move made me say "wow, this game is incredible", if you want tips? Milestone Driver is Rekka's signature move, she advertises it everywhere, the screens light up, her arms glow up, pretty much everything will tell you when it is coming, to avoid it, jump or triple rhythm dodge to gain enough distance away from her on the startup, it's just like a grappler in any other fighting game, just space them out. Edit: I think it would have been funnier if she flipped the bird at 6:54
GOD rekka's cutscenes had no business going this hard, SHE LOOKED SUPER COOL AND AWESOME AMD BADASS 😍 honestly fell in love the moment she was on screen. She's dope. (also loved peppermint's "but I'm not paying you anything", for some reason the way she said it cracked me up)
@@samuel10125 according to something I read a lot of them were more or less sociopaths so that were hired knowing fully well about everything. Not much room to change at that point imo
6:57 the junk axe being ground across the ground key blade style, in tune with the fucking music! GAAAAAAH, BETHESDA FIRE TODD COWARD SO I CAN LOVE YOU FULLY AGAIN!
It's nice that the HiFi Originals song tries for the same feeling as her copyrighted boss battle music, Free Radicals. Very much a similar slow and paced beat that defies how bombastic she is, but still fits somehow. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VgfTDOsxmMY.html
No offense to the band who made Free Radicals but this is one of the few instances in the game where I feel like the Streamer Mode music fits better than the original soundtrack, sounds a lot more aggressive
This boss was hell for my 1st time. I was ALWAYS getting hit by that move at 5:00. I got like, at least 5 game-overs from it. Still a good time though.
Why did they change the music for Rekka's boss fight? It was The Flaming Lips (Free Radicals), not Captive Normals (A Fever Dream), Anybody got any info about it?
After you finish the game for the first time, you can go back to previous levels and retry them. Unfortunately no starting from specific checkpoints though, but each level is about an hour if you take your time, so it's not a big deal to me personally.
ur kinda lame playing sorry ur not even listen the rythm ur falling in the same mistake again againa and again spamming the dodge buttom u have no idea what you have to do u just win because the game was easy
