@@yieldtothenight yes these are real-stone panels , 40cm wide ~12cm high and ~4cm thick. This room started as a homecinema many years ago so it already was there when the stereo system came. If it could be better with something else??? No clue and because I´m so happy with the end result how everything looks and sounds it will always stay this way

Thanks for your submission and congrats for an amazing rig! I actually think that a good preamp enhances the signal. When mine passes through my Mastersond or my Shindo it was better than a direct connection. I know, it’s counterintuitive but that is what I hear!

@@anadialog Thanks, I really love that rig, did put a lot of research into this and it paid off I would say. Mike Powell (ODC Mikey) was mainly behind the combo Playback Designs+Jeff Rowland. I was very lucky with all my dealers. I think the output section of the DAC is in a different class as my "little" preamp, that is why I went over the bypass. It is even recommended not using a preamp at all and directly connect the DAC to the powera mp. Would have done it but with the Homeicinema and Turntable in the chain I needed a preamp

@@brunohebert1351 It took a lot of research because I´m a homecinema guy and the brands there are really countable on one hand ... so different with stereo music. Holy cow what a giant market. I f you don´t know anything about this space and not even where you really want to go it is a jungle. Took me over a year with many hours each day to nail everything down for the gear and the right dealers I could trust. I was in the "blessed" situation being able to buy all at once which I did and without credit or help. Doing it this way you want to do it right even more. Buy it, love it, keep it till something many years later breaks. Oh and no, nobody put that amount of money down my .... thats what many would think I guess. I could never tell my father how expensive this rig in total really was. I only did say it did cost a lot, oh and more, and by the way, even more than that😉 I lost my father last week and little things like that he did help me putting these stone panels together and that he was able to listen to the rig one time makes me so happy, he really liked what he heard, ne never got exposed to this world. He only said, ok I understand what you build yourself here and why I have so much fun with it

I know, you are right, that should be the correct procedure but I really believe in NOT seeing anything about a video and I am willing to run this risk. For now things are pretty balanced but I am sure it won’t always be like that. I have reaction videos because they just seem fake. I want to change that, at least on my channel.

This is YOUR personal opinion, which doesn’t mean it is actually true. The awards isn’t something ai invented it’s something nice to make the video more dynamic. No ego, who knows the channels knows me. In any case the interest is going too much down so I must reduce this series.
