Hi my friend, I have an issue with my Sy330.. It turns on, however it doesnt amplify! To hear something I need to increase volume up to 10!!! I have cheked DC on the Operation Aplifire and it's good, all capacitors look good shape... Any suggestion? Thank you!
Hi! Have you checked if there’re some bad connection in the circuit? It could be also bad contact in the volume pot, I would try to spray some contact cleaner and see if it does something. Then, if it doesn’t work, if you have an oscilloscope on hand, try to feed a signal in the input of the preamp and try to probe the signal in the circuit. This way you should be able to find where the signal gets lost. (If you don’t have an oscilloscope, you can still use a multimeter in AC mode and see if you have a decrease in voltage) Hope it helps :)
@@DaveElectronics wow thank you for the quick response! I'll try something with the oscilloscope. Volume pot doesnt scratch at all, it encrease normally but with pratically zero amplification (still i cleaned them). Lets see...
