"I swore to uphold the tenants of the Creed. To never compromise the Assassin brotherhood and to stay my blade from the flesh of the innocent.....I was a damn fool." - Shay Patrick Cormac
0:10 "do you swear to hold the principals of our order, and all that for which we stand and to do so from now until death, whatever it'll cost?" - haytham "yes I do..." - Shay "you are now, a templar" - haytham
Gameplay wise Odyssey is the best, story wise the Ezio trilogy is the best, with this coming in second. I haven't played Black Flag yet so my opinion is subject to change
Now that I've played both Assassin's creed 3, 4 and now Rouge I understand these characters more and appreciate each of them especially Adawalle, Hatham Kenway and Achilles. Adawalle shouting at Hatham telling him how he knew his father Edward, and even understanding why Achilles was hesitant at first to train Conor because of what happened to his son and what happened to the Assasins during the events of AC Rouge, it all fits. One of my favorite story lines in AC franchise. Black Flag, Rouge and AC 3, wish they would revisit the Unity AC to tie in Shay Cormac and maybe even Conor if possible.
Having characters carry over and giving a historical era time to breathe really makes for good storytelling. It's a shame they're so set that every new entry needs a new protagonist and needs to be in a totally new time and place. Connor and Arno at the very least need to be revisited later on.
To those out there that feel they walk a blind path, led only by a hand they are TOLD to trust, because it's deemed as RIGHT, to those that feel the need to find their own RIGHT in the world, raise your own flag, Believe your own word...follow your own CREED.
"I reach the end of the trail. The air is still... and I... am a hunter. The hunt had led me to the forgotten edges of this world. Seasons pass, drawing me deeper into the darkness, where I have found the truth; that my redemption is found in ashes... That I must burn away the past to set things right. Once, an Assassin... now their pursuer. I must destroy those, who I once called brother. The air is still... and I am... a hunter."
+Infamous Winter I agree that it was lazy of Ubisoft to use the same engine they did with BF but I'm glad they tweaked it and made slight improvements. As of graphics it is the last, last generation AC game to be released you can't really blame the graphics because of console limitations. I didn't like BF because Edward Kenway didn't seem like an assassin and I wanted a "better" character in the next AC game but was unfortunate that it would be about a Templar but after seeing it's story, it gives me a clear view about both sides and their morals only think that has me off tho is explaining Connor and Shay who could have met and fought but I think Rogue was better then BF I liked Shay as a character.
look Rogue for me it's the best ac but you are right because it's the same as black flag and the gameplay it's boring when you are playing as an assassin.the graphics are pretty good i can say and the story my favourite
"You will die a traitor!" - Achilles Davenport "WHO ARE YOU TO DECIDE WHAT CITY FALLS NEXT?!?! - Shay Patrick Cormac A.K.A. Badass Assassin Turned Templar.
