Sharing from your heart, this has been very inspiring. Knowing your health is a priority/concern for you should be your first step to wellness. I can't imagine all the stresses with editing, filming, PR, reviews, e-mails, content, social media... and the million other items to think about on a daily basis. Your honesty is to be commended Trisha, will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as you navigate life.. 😍

I'm ADD in lots of ways too. But take small baby steps. Try & stay focused on 1 thing at a time that's the goal. I had 1/2 my thyroid removed 20+ years ago & take thyroid med daily. Why are you going back to the states for your thyroid? Why not see a doctor here in Mexico? Paulette. (Showing as Marc) hehe

Thanks! I see myself in what you're saying, and I appreciate your honesty and your vulnerability. My husband and I are moving to our beach house in Chelem Yucatan sometime in late July...eeek! We have created a RU-vid channel and hope to post our adventures soon. I have no clue how to edit, so they may suck but it will be fun! I know you love Merida, but please know that now you have a friend at the beach!

Aawwwww thank you for the Super thanks!!! I didn't even know that was possible!!! That's so so sweet of you! Congrats on your RU-vid channel! It's a whole process and everyone is different and I am very slow!! I have gone through a lot of emotions with RU-vid haha. I know I need someone to at least get the rough draft together so I can finish the details at the minimum. It's sometimes scary to be vulnerable but I always realize when I am it actually feels really good! Yes I'd love to see you guys! I love that whole area! Congrats on your beach home!

That's not really the point. Just because anyone has gotten anywhere does not guarantee the next step of success. This is a part that if I Don't take care of this I won't get any further.

Thank you for sharing this. I overthink things as well so I know how you feel. The timer idea is great! Maybe you could keep a list of things that you need to do on a daily basis, in a journal-type book, as reminders but not a list of things to do. Baby steps are really great. Hugs.

@cindyk3076 Hi Cindy! Yes I agree this is exactly what I'm doing having time for each thing. I have a daily notebook I am writing in now. Yes baby steps are key, it's hard but it's necessary!

Vulnerability = strength. I agree that over thinking is no bueno, yet a good dose of self-reflection is good. I trust my intuition at all times and then just use my mind to do practical stuff. So intuition first, mind second. You are on the right track, Trish! If you want a personalized tip let me know 🌷(I am an energy coach for creatives).

🎉 Say, when the ADHD light bulb goes off, as a undiagnosed ADHD female adult, it's AMAZING + Scary + Happy + A Wholly crap moment 🤩. There are sooo many things that can help, as there are 4 different types of ADHD, and with one type the brain does amazing with serotonin and with the other type, its too much. So finding out what type you have is helpful. There isn't a one and done with ADHD. Food can really help, and moving the body is better than some meds. You ARE A Creater and STARTER ! Your the brains of an operation, the world needs you. If you had buckets of doe you could hire everything, but thats not reality for everyone. Been there! Get support and if one more person tells me there are ADHD apps to help with cleaning ect i will scream! Lol but if ur an app person there are amazing apps to help the Adhd person. Sorry its so long, I am having my ADHD rant. Talking to a counselor who can help process was key for me. ❤

What video editor software do you use?
@MyTrishAdvisor
@MyTrishAdvisor 8 месяцев назад
I usually use wevideo.....I have a Google chrome book and its like the only software that will work woth it since it operates like a tablet. Wevideo is online and it works well with my computer. It does take longer because the rendering takes longer but its kinda my only option until i decide to get a real computer haha

Yes! Strongly agree! Try different natural ways and see what works to deal with your problem FIRST before doing meds. That is exactly how I run my life at 56 and managed to avoid medication to lower my blood pressure or avoid gout flareups in my case. Meds almost always come with a list of potential side effects and should be used only as a last resort when all else fails. Trish, you are a remarkable person who has helped people(including me) navigate their Mexico dream, but in order to continue helping others you sometimes have to help yourself first so I'm pleased to hear you are taking "baby steps" to try and address your issue. 🫶
@MyTrishAdvisor
@MyTrishAdvisor Год назад
Awww thanks Cesar! Yes, I totally agree it's so easy to want to just jump to the "cure" of meds but that's not really dealing with who you are and navigating that. Why not try to really work on yourself before even going the "you need to take meds to heal yourself" way. I am so glad you were able to take care of your health issues naturally, isn't that an amazing thing?! Thank you for your encouraging words it's because of people like you that make me realize that I am doing the right thing and need to get past myself and overcome this part and move on! These bbbbbbbaby steps are exactly what I need to do.

It takes soooooooo many years to figure out one has ( especially female adult ADHD,) it can take some time to get new skills figured out. We don't ask someone with an amputation to run. Our brains work amazingly differently. We're not lazy, it takes a lot more work than people will ever know. ADHD people are some of the greatest people in history and not slow, just process differently. The great Einstein had a form of ADHD.
