This video was great. This guy was really grateful for the AMSOIL ATF. You're totally right when you say you like to give back to the community. I would love to fix his headliner in his car for him too.

Every time you don’t know when it’s going to happen the bottle slap my favorite I like the bigger bottle slap it has more jiggle and louder that the smaller ones it’s thicker more fluid too don’t get me wrong a smaller bottle is great too and the slap is great brings a smile to my face and still a nice amount of fluid great job keep it up please
I watch these videos to give me courage to service my slipping transmission (bought it used and it doesn’t seem like the previous owner changes the fluids enough). This amsoil stuff sounds great! Hope its gna help as a last resort.
It's definitely worth trying because if you don't change it the transmission will definitely be wrecked so at least it's worth a shot This is the lookup guide that will give you all the products to your vehicle and when you use my link I'll be your Amsoil dealer and you can always ask me any questions. If you're new to Amsoil the 6-month PC membership will save you about $33 and $100 order so it's always best to do the 6-month preferred customer membership. @@Syntheticoilprotection hey man just an update. Changed my ATF using the Amsoil ATF signature series and this thing is quite literally liquid MAGIC! Previously i’d have problems shifting both into reverse and drive in the morning when the transmission is still cold and now it shifts into drive almost instantly! Reverse gear still needs a little warm up but it takes a fraction of the time it used to, now it engages within 5 seconds. Even during operating temperature the tranny shifts extremely smooth! Changed out the old lexus fluid with a quart of Amsoil (was hesitant to do a flush) and also put in a new filter and couldnt be happier considering how little effort it took to transform the driving experience dramatically. I would support you by ordering my amsoil products through you but i live halfway across the world in Asia, so its more convenient that i buy my Amsoil through a local dealer. But oh man i am a believer! Will be changing all my fluids to Amsoil soon!!!
Iv used royal purple on a 2009 chevy Silverado 1500. It was nice don't get me wrong. I now have a 2016 tundra crewmax. I was able to use the transmission signature series in it. Got about 6 quarts in it. And wow!!!❤❤❤❤
Great video taking care of your cars transmission. Do it earlier than to late. Carbon and soot is like sand paper waring out your transmission and motor. Well done on passing on education.
Nice video, but I hope people know that newer Honda’s don’t use this fluid in the video. They use a different amsoil atf fluid though. I didn’t notice this until I took a closer look.
Oh yeah they updated it to the newer viscosity for better fuel mileage you'll see everything on the website will give you all the fluids for your vehicle you just click on the shop by vehicle tab💯👍 I give a man a fishing pole & show him how to fish. Of course yeah the Odyssey is just a basic drain and fill just like the other Hondas which you'll see in the transmission fluid playlist - ru-vid.com/group/PLB_ftWArBFdfzuV7RHGz70MD-PawLbKgu
Some mechanics like Scotty Kilmer say don’t change the atf after so many miles because the transmission will slip. Is that true? If the atf was never changed.
Hey that's a great question I've had hundreds of people switch to Amsoil after their transmission wasn't shifting well and every person was amazed at how much better it shifted afterwards some their transmission shifted better than the days the car was brand new after only changing half the fluid. I've never had anybody have their transmission slip after changing the ATF fluid on my channel yet
Have you ever looked at using the AMSOIL engine flush for automatic transmissions? It wouldn't work for this car due to not replacing the filter but the bottle does state that the product is an "Engine and Transmission Flush".
Yeah we've used it on a pickup truck and we had three people and we took the return line off so we changed all the fluid out completely. On a small car like this it's not necessary. You want to use the flush on a transmission where you can change all the fluid and replace all the fluid
@Synthetic Oil Protection Makes sense, since you wouldn't want the existing product to thin out any new fluid. I also noticed from past videos that the amount of transmission fluid in this application (2.9 quarts) is less than the average of 4-6 quarts of engine oil that the bottle cleans in oil flushes but figured the application was worth noting. Also, FWIW, I did notice that Wix also sells other filters on the AMSOIL website as well for the really staunch DIYers.
How many miles did it have when it was originally changed did it have around 200k when he changed it with the stuff that gave him issues or was it changed before.
He said that he originally changed the fluid with some antislip fluid originally was that the first time the fluid was changed or was it changed before that .
Hi Eben. I was reading up on Amsoil by chance, I had never heard of it, its not sold in Ireland where, I live. So I have to import it from the UK. I then found your channel some months back, I enjoy the videos an your enthusiastic presenting. These Amsoil products are super stuff, much better than the usual named oils in Europe. Thumbs up to Amsoil, and you, Regards Dave in Ireland

Would you do a transmission drain in a 2013 tundra 5.7 with 183k?.. I don’t know the history of the car… transmission is working fine but would like to know if I should do it or just leave it
Great video I was on the fence about doing my flush on my 2001 crv with 160k miles but this video helped me make up my mind. Haha any chance you guys can hook up a brother out in Phoenix I would like to get this for my 2009 civic si 64k miles and my 2016 accord sport 62k miles?

My 04 pontiac vibe has 222k miles, I don’t think the fluid has ever been changed, im scared to change it, but i want to prolong the transmission, what do u recommend?
If it was mine I would definitely change the fluid. I would do a single drain and fill and then come back and do it in about 5000 miles again. 🎬 Professional YouLubher: Eben Rockmaker Regency Gold Direct Jobber AMSOIL Specialist (Dealer#: 5331179) 702-472-3614 ✅ If You're New To AMSOIL I Recommend The AMSOIL 6 Month PC Membership because it will save you about $33 on a $100 purchase after the difference in tax - www.amsoil.com/offers/pc/?zo=5331179
I hear it’s never good to change tranny fluid on a car, just let it be. I got my mom a 2001 Honda civic and the tech wants ‘em change the tranny fluid…. I’m not so sure I want him to change it. The car as over 200k on the ticker. Thoughts on this?

Wait… the owner of the Honda Civic says he tried another transmission fluid and the car hated it. He changed it back to the manufacturer’s fluid and the transmission loved it. And now he’s charging it again with something else lol?
Yes there are all different levels of lubricants some are synthetic blend others are mineral oil some are called full synthetic this is 100% synthetic creates a much higher film strength between the metal less frictionless heatless where it is good for double the severe service interval of the manufacturer which means it can handle heat 4 times better because lubricants break down exponentially for every 18 degrees hotter a lubricant runs at oxidizes at twice the rate. This transmission fluid also keeps its viscosity with extreme pressure and heat so it doesn't lose the fluid pressure so you have faster cleaner shifts - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-y7S2JA0u5CE.htmlsi=Ptnck8gsbbVeXHmZ
Pretty much I mean the main thing is getting the most fluid out. I don't do any transmission flushes because it takes a lot of people and it's a lot easier to just do a couple drain and fills and then the fluid is basically all switched out
I'm just getting ready to do that on my 59 Cadillac DeVille I'm going to be going back and doing another drain and fill and on the differential in the coolant I had the car now for one year and 2,800 mi and a lot of stuff has come off inside and now it's in the fluid and now I'm going to be getting a lot of that old crap out of there
Synthetic Oil Protection - ah! I was curious that. Awesome! Keep up great show challenge old car can be working! And even highest mileage still working!

@@Syntheticoilprotection pretty much only a rebuild would do. Its not fluid related, its just a 2xx,xxx mile honda but that should stretch out any remaining life it has
Actually it's a lot less money to run Amsoil. Your transmission shifts quicker smoother quieter it lasts exponentially longer Amsoil is 100% synthetic creates a much higher film strength separates the metal less heat less friction less wear. This will show you the difference between Amsoil and others they can call a full synthetic full synthetic when it's 25% synthetic or more. Amsoil is 100% synthetic. ♥️ AMSOIL Performance Tests: Read This Article - www.amsoil.com/performancetests.aspx?zo=5331179

Great question yeah it's always ideal to change the fluid on most Transmissions every 30 to 60,000 miles depending on the driving conditions. Somewhere like Las Vegas especially a CVT continuously variable transmission you want to change that fluid every 15,000 miles. If you're doing all highway driving you can go longer because you have a lot more Cooling and less shifting with using the Amsoil transmission fluid if it was my personal Honda Civic I would change the transmission fluid immediately to the signature series you'll see it right here on the lookup guide. ❤️ 🇺🇸 ❤️ Your Professional YouLubher: Eben Rockmaker. @@Syntheticoilprotection So changing the transmission fluid won’t damage the transmission? I remember owning cars back in the days and when I changed the transmission fluid they would slip really bad. I had to get another tenant in rhe scrap yard. But I just want to make sure. Do I need authentic Honda fluid? Thanks
You can use the Amsoil fluid you'll see everything right here in the lookup guide I recommend the signature series if that's what your car calls for just depends on the type of transmission you'll notice much quicker shifts smoother shifts and your transmission will have a longer lifespan. ❤️ 🇺🇸 ❤️ Your Professional YouLubher: Eben Rockmaker.
