It's basically the same people as Technotronic. Jo Bogaert and Ya Kid K. For Technotronic, Bogaert wanted to use the face of a model as the frontwoman. That's why Ya Kid K is not in the video or in early performances. After Technotronic had several hits, they reversed thT decision and started showcasing Ya Kid K as the frontwoman.
Ya kid k has one of the iconic voices of the 90s kinda like Kurt Cobain you hear her and you know exactly who It is. Although as a youngin thought she was a 10 year old boy!

Trust me, these tunes rock the dance floor when you have the right crowd that appreciated house music. When you do get the chance, throw in some Yaz, 2 without hats-Esa loca, Party line, and look for some Chicago underground house 87/89. 🎵🙌🏾

Wow. When I was 4-5 years old, my older sisters (by 11 and 13 years) would get me to dance to whatever I liked. Man, did I ever bust a move. They loved watching me, too! I thought I was all that, man... they pop this tape in, and I'd start dancing in our living room. The mere fact that it was from the TMNT soundtrack made it even sweeter! Simpler times........ now I have to pay bills, and do adult stuff. Damn. :(

I listened to this marterpiece was in 1995 the very first time. In my country people would watch so many tv programms that came out from House and Eurodance then suddenly this song got my mind completely. I'm a lover of this music Eurodance/Techno, Techno House. The age is being changed by children's today, but they're never gonna know how much important were those songs to us.

Never heard it before `til today ! I knew Yakid K in Technotronic but not in Hi Tek 3. Nice tune....everything what an early 90s Dancetrack needs: Rap, Piano, epic bassline and...of course..."HOO YEAH!" 😀
That line was actually cut from the record in America because the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie was how the song ever got released there and the main demographic of that was little boys.
@@RocStarr913 thats really interesting because I thought that line really worked with the tone of the movie. Then again this was a few years into the "war on drugs" so I can understand.
