it's genuinely sad for me, you are one of the few true creators on youtube and my main source for deep analytic videos on music. Every time your video was out I immediately watched it. Your take and your STUNNING VISUALS are a breath of fresh air in this sea of thrash content that seems to start dominating this platform. But I understand that you need this as a creator, and I will be looking forward to your comeback!

Your work has been a true inspiration. I am a high school music teacher and I’m teaching about subtext - I used your videos on Hotel California, Bohemian Rhapsody, and Mr. Tambourine Man. Copyrights are the cancer of music. Keep going strong, believing in yourself and do take a rest. You’re a brilliant creator and your videos always make me really happy and they actually make me know myself. For example, you’re the reason I got into Joni Mitchell and Don McLean among other artists. The content you already have I can always watch again and again. 😌🙏❤️ I’m super happy I watched the full episode of DSOTM before it got taken down. That is a real banger of a video.

I absolutely love this channel! Your stories and views on the music I love, have enthralled me (yes, visuals too). Your videos have enabled me to dig deeper into the old genres I adore, discovering deep cuts and more about the lives of the artists. They made me love the songs I'm familiar with even more and get to listen to them with a new perspective, giving me that magical first time feeling (and that is invaluable!). Your videos on Dark Side of The Moon urged me to go listen to the whole album the way it should be listened to and I was so hooked on it, that it was my top album of 2023. Music has a huge role to play in my life and Polyphonic has had a significant impact on my love for and exploration of music, so I will deeply miss your videos while you're gone! RU-vid is pretty unfair and frustrating for creators and I would love to purchase a Nebula subscription but it can only be bought with USD as far as I know and we have a different currency here in India. Can that be sorted by any chance? Anyway, keep doing what you love and take care! Lots of love from India

I hope you read this. Christmas is coming and it reminds me of that melancholic Christmas of 2021 when I had to spend alone to not risk my mom's health (we didn't have the vaccine back then). Your video on Joni Mitchell's "River" was a breath of fresh air for me, it eased some of the pain, and also made me connect even more with an artist, album and song that I already loved (I'm not a native English speaker). Polyphonic became my favorite musical channel from then, got me more connected with the music I love (Dark Side of the Moon is my all time favorite album, I have it even tattooed), and also presented me with reliques of music I didn't know about. So yes, you fulfilled the mission you chose with honors. And if you think you need a break, we'll all be here supporting you and patiently waiting for more bits of this incredible work you do. You deserve it. Cheers from Brazil, cheers from Daniel.

I wrote sort of an appreciation paragraph about your channel a while back around when I first found Polypohonic, and I feel like this is the perfect video to comment it on: You have one of the best story-teller, documentary style videos I've ever seen (if not the best). You've made me think more about the world around me through your view point, descriptions, and in depth analysis speeches about topics. I love the way you ingulf the audience with the way you speak and how your visuals describe the exact story you are telling without being too much on the eyes or too bland and boring. Thank you for your channel, I appreciate the way you remind us about the world without being too opinionated or over complicated. Thanks again. - Jev Geek I may not be the best at writing, but I still mean every word. I hope you find what you're looking for, thanks for everything.

I came to music, as a hobby and passion, kind of late in life, but I've always been a fairly nerdy guy who needs context for things he's interested in and your videos are the best thing I've ever found for giving the cultural context behind so much of the great music in our world. I used your videos as a springboard to search out the books on the subjects you talk about. You've always been able to give me some touch of inspiration. To me the most interesting Hiatus was Steely Dan. When they returned after over a decade which saw the rise in popularity of Rap & Hiphop, you could inspect their return album Two Against Nature with a fine-toothed comb and not see a single influence of either.
