Hibbent Shower Head How To Install and Test It!!

It is always intimidating trying new things, for me today it was installing a new shower head. I am so excited for this shower head though it's big, it's relaxing, and it's fun!
The pressure to keep the head up was off so I fixed it by putting a metal washer by the plastic gasket, 5/16in split metal washer is linked here:

now you definitely don't need 15 of these but now you know what size to get and what they look like!

I bought my new rain shower from a seller on Facebook Marketplace. When I opened it, I was a little daunted by all the pieces, and there were no instructions included . Thankfully, your video turned up at the top of my RU-vid search, and after watching the video, I was able to install it without help in just a few minutes! I actually think it took longer to watch the video than it did to do the installation! Thank you for being clear and thorough with your instructions! Good job!

I just ordered and installed this same shower system. Thank you for this video. Mine came with a big oval shaped water filter that attaches to the square shower head that adds additional weight on the swing arm. I’m hoping and praying it doesn’t strip the gear and end up not being able to stay upright like yours.

Lol glad you enjoyed it! I really wanted to show what to expect, unfortunately the head has not been as sturdy as I was hoping it would be even with the extra gasket. 😔 But we really like this style of head and hand help piece.

Thanks!! I am definitely not perfect, but also try to show that things aren't as hard as they seem. Definitely use the plumbing tape or it will leak.

Thank you for this video, it was VERY helpful. Just one one little note: my instructions show wrapping the teflon tape 12 times around. I did mine 12 times just in case that made a difference, although from your video it seems just a few times around works as well.

Great job, can the adhesive bracket holder for the hand sprayer be removed from that location to directly below the main shower head?

@darrya8637 the head won't stay up for me any more I am so bummed!! I recommend a different one in the description of the video that I don't think will have the same issue based on the design, installation is similar though. Good luck!

Lmao I Watched The Whole Video To See How To Install The Handheld Part But You Never Got To It..About To Have Mine In A Few Days Wanted To Know If I Would Have To Drill Holes Or Not. No, no drilling holes is necessary at all! It is super easy, maybe you missed it at the beginning. 10:05 is hooking the hose line for the hand held part and 11:05 is connecting the hand held head to the hose. Unless you mean the part that hangs on the wall. I just didn't want to put that up, lol. Still no holes required, it has double sided tape to stick inside of your shower. I would just make sure the spot is super clean to keep it sticking for as long as possible. Good luck!

I've had mine for about 3 weeks now, but I really can't tell a difference with my skin and hair. I had a different brand before, and I could tell the difference right away. What about you guys?

I am not sure what difference you would be referring too, it is just plain old water that comes out of it.

After a year of use the rain head does not stay up, it falls all the time, very disappointing. I had to remove it. If I get another one I will try this one. amzn.to/3KK0Ldj It has a different joint on it than any others I have seen to hold the head up so hopefully it does better.

Awful!! 😞 The head kept falling down and I tried everything including epoxy to try and keep it up! I am so disappointed in the product I only keep the video up because installation is the same for most shower heads to help people with that. I will get one like this next time with a different locking thing that looks like it holds up better. amzn.to/3KK0Ldj I would also recommend installing it as soon as you get it so you have plenty of time to test it out while you can return it. Good luck!

How could I remove that adhesive part for the spray handle if I wanted to reinstall it on the opposite side?

Hmmm so you are saying that you already have it stuck to the wall right? I haven't tried to remove it but I would try to carefully pry it off the tile first if you get it off but then order some double sided sticky tape to re stick it and then use goo gone to get the rest of the other sticky stuff off. If you can't pry it off I would try goo gone all around it to in stick it.
