Had mine two weeks. I'm 6'1, 230 lb, I'm definitely NOT returning this one 😂. I tried 3 scooters, this one is by far the best. I got mine on Amazon for $350 My pockets are super happy My kid is super happy I can ride with her and I'm happy I can stop paying lime and wrap my scooter to work downtown. You got money to burn, go spend that $800-$1200. For entry level this is perfect! But, if you trying to do 30 40mph competing with real vehicles on the road you need to spend that money. I'm not trying to do that just trying to have fun and go to work
I have one but I weigh 215. The rear suspension compresses almost all the way with me on it and the ride is rough unless I'm on a very smooth pathway. I'm 6'2" and the stem is a bit short for me. Still, it's built like a tank, very reliable and fun. I did upgrade to a more powerful scooter with dual spring suspension but I kept the S2 Pro because it is still a great scooter and probably better for a smaller, lighter rider.
I have this scooter for two months and I am happy about it. I have no problem with going uphill. Occasionally I have to use sports mode to get up sharp uphills ( use twice as much power). I get 21 miles with comfort mode. Without climbing uphills I guess 25 miles range is possible. The solid wheels have bumpy rides at the beginning. After awhile they have softened up I kind of getting used to them. The manual says it’s a 350 watts motor. But people advertise it as 500 watts motor. Maybe it has to do with peak and continuous power output. I don’t know
Thanks for this review. I am seriously considering buying this scooter, I am just concerned about uphill. I don't mind slowing down a bit but for sharp up hill will it completely stop or will just slow down and I can kick to push it forward faster?Did you ever have to get off the scooter because of the slope? I don't want to buy dual motor scooters because they are very heavy(~60lbs).
Once I figured that out, it really opened up where I could bring my scooter when I first bought it. The suspension was at its stiff setting. I could barely go over a crack without it, vibrating the whole scooter as soon as I adjusted that suspension a few turns wow I can take it on gravel. Pathways now no problem.
Hello I have the S2 pro. I weight about 235 and it rides just fine for me for the past 2 years. Not very good on hills. No matter what a person weight.
I’m 6’3 165-175 depending on the month. Would the Hiboy s2 be okay for the city? Or would it be useless? I was thinking about that one but it’s more than I can afford right now
Get s2 pro, costs 450 new. Or s2. Difference is in battery size. If your city does not have steep hills, either scooter is fine- both have same motor 500w
Are you or anyone reading this comment have issues with battery life? It's advertised at 17 mile range but Im not getting anywhere near that. Honestly I feel like I am getting 3-5 miles maybe. After using it for maybe a mile or 2 the battery indicator goes down to half way. Does turning it on and off often maybe cause a battery drain? I had them ship me a new battery and still the same thing.
@M4.HUGO. both. There is no way the scooter should lose its charge so fast. Download an app that analyzes battery usage. There are many of them. It ll tell you what voltage is in each battery cell. Something wrong with the battery. New one costs about 200
