It's just that for some reason, a lot of masterpieces, including this one, lack the backing of their respective studios. There is a chance for a new season, IF it does well on Netflix.

This was the first rottmnt thing I’ve ever seen. It just popped up on my recommendation page one day having the audacity as if I haven’t interacted with TMNT content since 2014.. and I now have been hooked onto this show, movie and fandom for the past week
