Right now is definitely the golden age of Universal Parks! Such a great time with so many awesome things to see and experience! Thanks for the reminder of how great Universal Hollywood is!
Love your old school Tampa Bay Devil Rays cap! As a native of St. Petersburg, FL, seeing the Ray's original logo and nickname always brings back fond memories of when our town finally acquired a Major League team that stayed in St. Pete beyond spring training. As they say: Everything old is new again!
Great view of Waterworld, one of the best theme park shows in existence. Wishing a speedy recovery to the stunt performer who was hospitalised last week 👏❤️🙏
That room all to yourself total peace and quiet sounds good, only seen water world show once but it was brilliant, so good, after the weekend at Disney, no wonder your shattered lol, Thankyou Adam
What a nice view 🤗 I remember the first time I went to Universal Studios, it was on a school field trip when I was in 5th grade, around 1975. It's changed so much since then. They have constant security outside of The Brady Bunch house, not sure what they plan on doing with it. Adam, you sound kind of like you're catching a cold...take care.
Saw the view from your room and I was at Super Nintendo World yesterday for the technical rehearsals. Wish I could have waved lol. Absolutely brilliant world and environment. Have a great time!
Thank you. That was great. I really appreciate the Back to the Future location. And thanks for matching it up. We live in Ocala now but we used to live in Studio City so we know both parks. Thanks again. Keep up the great work.
I love your informational videos. So unique and different. It's nice to see the area around the theme parks, yet a little scary how deserted it looked.
Very nice Adam I really appreciate when you explain the areas your in and the significance of the buildings or houses or whatever your showing. I Do live vicariously through you ,Mr. Woo Have a Great Time in California Stay Safe Bless you and your travels 🙏 Sending Lot's of Love ❤ from Tammy in P,A
I’ve stayed at the Universal Hilton numerous times when I traveled out to Cali for a conference. Beautiful hotel, awesome views, and a great walk into Universal.
Universal is kicking Disney’s behind right now with everything! Food entertainment, no reservations system … just overall a better time ! Thanks for the video bro!
Should have your friend Tom Wilson meet you there and see what he remembers about it. Would be cool to be chased through there by him. It’s still amazes me that even though you know “Biff” that you are still geeked out about a small filming location from one of the movies. Another great video
Nice video, brought back memories. I used to work in the back lot electrical department for the gaffers, like in the actual studios. Working there was kinda cool but getting in and out dealing with insane LA traffic everyday got old real fast.
Stayed in Sheraton Universal for a week last year when randomly needed to find somewhere in LA to stay at last minute - couldnt get into the Hilton - but that is a really great spot as well, view not quite as good, but so handy having access to universal so easily - and a reasonable spot for the rest of LA as well - InandOut in walking distance was also well used :)
Omg I want to high school right behind that motel !!! I went to John Burroughs High School, Ron Howard went there too and Brittany Murphy . I should say many we had a lot of young Hollywood went to my high school. That’s so cool Adam
Hey Woo :-) Fan from Denmark here. Been “lurking” for years now, yet I’ve never written in the comment section before :-) Just wanted to let you know how much I like your channel and you (at least how you are on camera, hehe).. Visiting Hollywood and Orlando/Disney World/Universal was always a dream of mine growing up, and I had to reach the age of 33 before treating my self (and friends) to a trip to Orlando, back in 2015. Visiting Disney World & Universal didn’t disappoint! It was truly everything I always dreamt it would be. I just KNEW I appreciated it that much more, being an adult, experiencing it all for the first time then and there. I’m also a MASSIVE fan of the movies, so Universal was heaven for me! My wife and I went back for an even bigger Orlando-trip back in 2018, where I made a whole documentary out of our trip. As a matter of fact it’s because of YOU, that I knew to go to the top floor of the Contemporary, to visit the place where Nixon once made his famous speech :-) I saw the video you made from many years ago now, where you too documented it ;-) Anyway, then in 2019 (just before the world went to crap) we visited Hollywood for the first time! It was so great to see your video here, cause I too tracked down that specific staircase, where they filmed the scene from Back to the Future 2 :-) As a matter of fact, we went on a whole BttF-location scouting-trip when we were there (made a huge video on it) Visiting all of those places, including Marty’s home, was so freaken surreal that I couldn’t wrap my head around it all - I geeked out so hard, lol! We TOO were staying at The Hilton, like you here :-) Great Hotel!! And of course we also visited Universal Studios at the same. Already having visited Orlando’s Universal Studios, twice before, then Hollywood’s themepark-area was a tiny bit “meh” in comparison (absolutely including their city-walk too) In that respect, Orlando’s is just WAY bigger and easily wins :-) BUT going on the original studio-tour, in Hollywood’s Universal, made it every penny worth! We took the tour two times, just because we could; it was so amazing! :-) Something that I’ve always wondered about, is why they insist on keeping the WaterWorld stage-show? I mean, is it really that iconic of a movie? Do people now a days even know what it is? Just curious :-) I mean, I’ll never quite get why they’d remove a CLASSIC ride like Back to the Future, which is just about the most beloved Universal movie ever (next to E.T and Jurassic Park) but then keep a stage-show like WaterWorld? It just keeps sticking around, hehe. I mean, newer generations just doesn’t know what it is, right? In many aspects it really does seem to be a forgotten movie, and I honestly never felt any classic vibes about it my self? (maybe I’m wrong though) I’m having a hard time understanding why they ever removed a GHOSTBUSTERS stage-show, which is just so much more classic? But there’s gotta be more to it, I guess :-) Anyway. THANK_YOU for your video’s!! Needed to stress that I truly enjoy them :-) Thanks for taking us with you, on your many adventures :-) Kind regards.
I remember the Waterworld show used to be the Miami Vice stunt show. Miami Vice show had a huge helicopter where the Seaplane is now. Great video Adam.
Ah yes... the glory days of Universal in my opinion. Been there only once and it was in the late 80's when they had that awesome show there still. But man... I REALLY miss King Kong Encounter! ❤🔥🔥😪
Hi Adam nice to see you back at Universal .What a spectacular view from your hotel.Thats a powerful lens you have on camera to see Water world.I will try to look out for you from Universal Jamie
Hello Adam. Thank you for another interesting video. We are never disappointed with what we learn watching your vlogs. Have a wonderful, magical week. ❤️ Bizebeegranny Jeanne and Dave Rose from Wickenburg, Arizona ♥️ ⚘️ ❤️
So nice to see you're still doing your thing Adam. Long time subscriber. I started watching you when you and Ginger were going around doing your thing. Glad to see you're doing well. Loved the video of the last walk around of that back lot where gremlins and national lampoon's Christmas vacation was filmed. But it's good to see you still doing your thing. If you ever get up to Indiana for anything, maybe even a cedar point trip hit me up. I have plans with friends to hit cedar point up in the spring. Have a good one man
@@cynthiaabbott1945 he had a friend named ginger, her RU-vid channel was called Original Ginger I believe, he ran around with her going to different places when his channel was starting out. If you go way back in Adams vids you'll see they going to an abandoned NASA facility in Florida. Or an old wizard of oz style theme park. I'm sure he still has those vids on his page somewhere. And that may not be how you spell her name, I'm just guessing. But there in his older vids
This makes me a little homesick for LA. I lived there in the '00s and worked near Universal Studios. When I first moved there, my friends took me all over to see filming locations and we went to a bunch BTTF spots. I've been on the lot and the Park many times. I was probably in that stairwell and didn't know it was BTTF location.
Was on the Universal tour in 1989 where they were doing pickup scenes for BTTF 2 and starting painting the set of the city for Dick Tracy. The courthouse set was still up and was looking like in BTT2.
HEY ATW...I HAVE REALLY ENJOYED TODAY'S EPISODE. IT WAS LIKE a personal tour hosted by you. I didn't think you were going to jump the staircase like the movie, but you climbed over to the other side like a beast!! McFly for the WIN! That was EPIC. I've already re-watched this vlog 5 times and now I will watch BTTF II just for that scene!
Adam, really enjoyed your vlog! I loved Back To The Future! Beautiful views from your hotel room window! That's cool seeing sea plane flying and pyrotechnics! I'm still trying to catch up on your videos.
