Some very nice options ! Thanks for the tours. Do you ever show any properties or houses that don't have direct water access ? I'm guessing the ones in today's video are a much higher price than the ones that are not directly on the water.

We will be moving there within the next 5 years. I cant decide if I want to live on the beach or on the river. I LOVE THE RIVER!!!

Wow some incredible options! For the buildable lots, what is the typical cost to build? What woudl the price per square foot be if someone were to build an average by local standards home?

@@savoryexposure I know that cost to build can have a pretty big variance even state side from state to state, depending on availability and cost of labor and materials.

We have a couple videos on this but overall I would budget in the range of $180- $250/ square foot depending on finishings and build material!

How hurricane resistant are these homes and waterways? Last time I was there they were moving boats to the west side of the island to pull motors and sink the boats to keep them safe and had containers strapped to the ground to protect belongings.

There was a vids about 6 months ago called how do hurricanes effect Belize, don’t remember if that shows how hurricane resistant homes are but it does talk about insurance. Not sure if that helps.

That’s a great video on properties nearest secret beach. We bought a property in Habitat. Just wondering if they have cleared the property in Habitat as well roads we would like to start building soon. Just wondering what the update is on habitat

Just visited Caye and Belize and much different from BVI's. People & locals soo very nice in BVI's and here same vibe. No steel guitar music here more of a Jamaican music vibe, ands local club bands are great here. The first thing I noticed was no roaming chicken, Cows, horses donkeys absolutely none, beef & steak are really not great options. If you like Conch, Chicken and Snapper every day this is your home! the outer reef system about 1/2 to 1 mile off shore where the water waves break is best place for snorkeling and not off the beaches, so you need a boat for sure. Fun place to visit and recommend the Caye & San Pedro islands to stay on for your trip

Definitely understand your opinion but canal front projects in Cayman Islands, Bahamas, Miami & numerous other Caribbean countries/ cities in Hurricane prone zones would disagree with this opinion. The sales and rental markets dictate the price. Also the quality of the homes. In any case appreciate the comment and Belize isn't for everyone but that is completely OK!
