The test map area is where the devs / modders test things out that they're making. It's just a very light weight map that won't interfere with whatever you're testing.
Most of it looks like a revamped Admin commands section. Other than the WIP (work in progress) parts. Making it a lot easier to execute admin commands for server admins & owners.
I wonder if this could be used in lieu of console commands to "earn" trophies which are normally disabled for any play session where an admin command was already used. Maybe to give yourself all the artifacts with this, because otherwise you'd have to give yourself all but one, restart the game, then go into a cave and get the last one yourself to pop the trophy. This could save that trip into the one cave.
Yeah so that's definitely a debug menu for QA for test the game with, definitely shouldn't have been left on! We usually have that during development and a "release build" should have a line of code that disables it, I guess they forgot to add it, or it's a bug itself.
i made like 15 more or less of you build designs on ASE some building in multiple maps i m looking forward for what you can build now on ASA, unfortunately i wont be able to play ASA not a good enough machine so i will have to wait.
I wonder....did they accidentally release a DEV build of the game, which is why there's so many performance and crashing issues? And also why they seemingly have an update ready less than 24hrs later?
Holding right shift and the 3 dots next to it opens the admin menu for me. I stumbled upon this while live streaming my first look on ASA, I was trying to open the console and ended up with the admin menu, my playthrough ended after that. How could I keep playing in that save when I got a tamed lightning wyvern and a giga.
hey ARON, your preety good at building ever think about doing videos like these but in 7days2die and teach us hot to do good builds there....id be intrested in watching them alot and id really wanna see what kind of bases youd build when it came to like facing the horde...just a though if you dont like it or not intrested i will understand, any ways great video and hope you have a good day.
I wonder if that's the admin doodad that caused one server to force a wipe. Can't remember where I heard about that, but someone talked about it in a video today.
"ARK Survival Ascended is still in early-access." ARK Survival Evolved is still in early-access. It looks like a useful tool so no doubt that it's going to get yeeted.
My experience on a 4070ti: on High with no DLSS about 40fps....80-90fps with DLSS and FrameGen. But dear lord the crashing is whats stopping me from actually enjoying the game. I can deal with fps issues since I dont play PVP, but crashing is annoying..
@GOLDHAWK360 this seems like a completely unnecessary response. The game is in early access, which means the devs themselves recognize that it's not complete or in it's best possible state. Perfectly reasonable that some may choose to wait for some more polish before jumping in.
Did anyone find a way to use this via Keyboard yet? I ask because i have aritus in my hands/wrists and this would be very helpful to me for some of the "cheat" commands, i only play single player and use Creative Mode on The Island map, i play for real on Svartalfheim map without cheats
i found that this game just more than doubled in price in south africa, when i mentioned it in the DC i got muted and told to stop spreading false news. yes i have screenshots to back up this
