I hope this comment pinned at top for some tips and thought, talking about pre maxx c,it is actually depends on your own hand If you have a bad hand and you wish to draw more from this maxx c,it's better to maxx c during they comboing, If you pre maxx c before main phase, it will end up two situations 1. They brick and end ,you draw nothing and lose a hand, and in this case you brick ,this made things even worse 2. They do play kash but they could just special it let you draw one and end, drawing one probably not fix your brick hand 3. We don't know what deck they are playing, not knowing what's in their hand too unlike this tournament when we play rank. They could be labrynth and you pre maxx c like a fool. Labrynth play Fenrir ,yes but if someone smart enough might just not special summon it and just play their own labrynth cards which just set traps and normal summon. 4. The exist of PSY and yet again,we don't know what they are playing in rank unlike this tournament, if they are actually purrely or dragon link that play PSY,especially dragon link free lv8 synchro for them it's like you fool back to fornite. The only best situation to pre maxx c recommend is actually only at the second turn, after you set a board then you maxx c them so if Fenrir special summon you get a draw and they must use Fenrir to face your board, also to dodge the immediate yoink of triple tactics talents
If I have a hand I can play on I’d rather pre maxx c. This stops both Triple Tactics and hopefully prevent my opponent from doing anything. I really don’t want them ripping from my hand or drawing
At first I was so happy seeing dragon rulers bc I thought it would finally be a new deck in the meta but when I saw Zeus, Tomahawk, Accescode, Mascerena and Baronne I was like „oh nice so we are playing the same cards in every deck again“. It is so boring what yu gi oh meta has become
