☞ 👀 We found a great RV Park at Moose Hillock in NY and then headed out to see whats around the area. We stumbled on to Saratoga Springs and their Horse Races. We ended up hanging out at the Saratoga Springs Horse track for the day seeing what it was like. Really fun time and would encourage others to check it out when you visit. The Adirondacks have a lot of things to visit and see. It rained a majority of our time so we missed Lake George and some of the other areas but look forward to coming back and doing some exploring our next trip up to Adirondack area.

Thank you for this video and explaining how good our country still is because our nephew needs to hear this right now. He would be the perfect type to get himself a class b or something and hit the open road and experience what our country has to offer other than where he grew up and listening to the news and media. Tried telling him and his dad for that matter how camping relieves so much stress. It’s a total different world when camping. Can’t explain it!!! Why are we so much nicer camping than in our everyday life? It’s like we’re one. We are our own little community and i absolutely love it can’t wait until we can camp more often verses just the holidays. If we could afford to go every weekend and had someone willing to take care of our horses and 2 cats each time we would. My aunt across street is helping us now but she’s 76 and slowing down and hate to ask to help every weekend so we go when we can. I inherited the horses from my mom. They were her pride and joy and just can’t see getting rid of them for camping. So we keep them. Plus they’re a package deal. They are close and would hate to separate them. One day we’ll figure this out to where we can escape more often lol. Maybe RU-vid what to do with your horses so you can take long weekend get aways.

Hi guys, enjoyed the video tonight, Shelia we just had the big Corvette rally pass through Cape this week, over 100 vets. We always loved the Rodeo community, it’s a lot like RVers, everyone traveling together. Looking forward to seeing you guys in a couple weeks.

Just watch this episode and I loved it. We love you guys and always look forward to seeing the next video. It is so good that I get immersed in the video with you both and makes me feel like I am with you guys ! It’s such a great feeling, unfortunately when the end of the video comes I get sad ! Anyway I and an avid model airplane builder and flyer. We have a radio control airplane club and other than watching your videos that is the community i and my fellow pilots belong to. It’s a huge hobby all over the country and around the world. We have multiple events a year like your meets and takeovers. Realy enjoy your videos. We don't have a rv but travel with our mules in a horse trailer with living quarters. We usually travel and/or meet up with other trail riders all over the country and ride the trails. We cook out most nights and have pot lucks. Its a lot of fun. We also travel with 4 dogs. Gets a little crowded but we love it. Some horse camps have hook ups, other places we dry camp.

Great video, while you are in upstate New York , North of Lake George you should visit Ausable Chasms. You will love it! We did. Look it up a great adventure. There is a campground right there so you can walk over to Ausable Chasms from the campground.

I think they hired a driver to handle that big semi truck and 54 foot camper. You don't see any driving videos of Todd driving the Semi into places they go.

LOL..any idea how much those cars are worth? Ferrari F40...Ferrari F50 and a N Largo F12....OMG! They sit in storage cause, if ya drive them the decrease in value...by a lot. I agree tho..they should be driven and shared at cars and coffee at least. Love your channel it's just so light, fun and enjoyable!!!

The Adirondack’s are beautiful. Lake George, Lake Placid, Saratoga, and so many more……there’s so much to see and do there……. You might want to check to see if Ken is up for the soap box derby tho…

What wonderful insight Shiela! We have also found this to be true. We are in Hannibal, Mo. because of the video you previously shared. While here enjoying this holiday weekend we realized they are having a Steampunk Festival. Imagine our surprise when we went into town and saw all the costumes and vendors. What a delightful surprise!

If you had an inkling that things are off the rails specifically where you are from, multiply that x 10 for NY. Even upstate. Yes, it's pretty. But..... it's great they still have shelters. Don't think we have those here. But we should.

We’re in for the derby huddle! Todd you can just wash the bronco for Shelia and buy that lady a hat! Thanks for the information about the chicken sandwich seems like most venues charge a fortune for not so good food. Land of the free and home of the brave! I went to a dog track with an old boss and he said bet on the one that takes a poop before the race, it worked.

We are headed out Wednesday to go flying Remote Control airplanes for 3 weeks. Three different RC fields in two different states. Camping and traveling with roughly the same people, to celebrate flying and fellowship with each other. Great people to laugh, giggle and celebrate life.

Well I like rock collecting! Just got back from the UP and I’m driving 2.5 hours tomorrow to rock hunt. It’s ton of fun but being in an rv you have to be selective. 😜 You already know we have a keep and off-road. Hoping to attend the Jeep invasion in the smokies next year. We should have an off road huddle where we all drive some awesome trails!!

Regarding niche communities, years ago I got into soccer watching a World’s Cup. As I have German heritage, I cheered for the Germans. I then found a German team I loved and was hooked. Through social media, I have become friends with Schalke 04 fans all over the workd. I have traveled to Germany three times to visit these friends and when they were recently in Cleveland to see another friend, I took my RV there to visit. Other fans, in the U.S., I have met for a visit. It’s a great community that meets once a week on social media, these days to commiserate on how poor the team is doing. Haha.

My favorite part of this video was your verbalization of an unspoken thought I also have had about all of this niche cultures. Me and my mom friends have talked about it with regards to sports and our children's interests. When you are in it, you feel that your child's sport is the most expensive out there and has the "craziest" parents. In reality, there is a niche subculture for every sport, interest, hobby and they are all equally expensive and have equal parts of crazies participating. The same goes for RV life and until you said it, I didn't really understand that that is actually part of the draw for all of us crazies getting interested in this lifestyle. It allows us to literally experience any and all of the niche subcultures that we choose to participate in and there is really no risk of going all in and finding out we do not like it, because we can just dabble in it, experience it, and then move on to the next if we do not like it. No one will be the wiser. I love this life.

Another great video. We love Saratoga. One weekend we stayed at the Gideon Putnam in Saratoga state park. One of our favorite places in Saratoga is Hatties Chicken Shack. They have great fried chicken and fries. We useD to have a seasonal site for 18 years in Cambridge NY. It was just 40 minutes from Saratoga. Recently we camped at Moreau Lake State Park. Another thing near there is Grants Cottage. It is where President Grant spent his last days and wrote his memoir. We enjoy your channel. We live in Central New York. Another thing for your list is Fort Ticonderoga.

No way you are in my hometown! Saratoga Springs is my hometown with lots and lots of special people that live there! Due to health reasons we are not there right now! But next summer for sure! We miss all of our family so much! You need to go to the spa, avenue of pines, go check out the geysers too! Oh I feel so excited, wish I was there! Vishe water is the best! I love the blue bottles that it comes in! I need to stop now or I will go on forever!

Oh my the Races! Hope you have fun! I rode on Secretariat many years ago! Usually it crazy there…lots of people! I used to pick horses by names that I liked! Food and drink are too expensive, always bring your own! You have lots to learn about horses Todd!

I hate to say this, but I can’t stand New York City or New York. I live there for three years and I will never never go back crime is so high there the government is no good there. Nothing that I like about New York City. Absolutely nothing.
