This documentary film is about the women of St Ives who worked in the textile industries in St Ives from the late 1020's to the 19 70's. In war time they made a significant contribution to the war effort by making camoflage nets and string vests.Janet Axten the Heritage Manager and a team of volunteers from the St Ives Archive and with help from John Lewis traced 50 of the women who had worked in these factories and invited them to a historic reunion so that their efforts and skills could be recorded for the St Ives Archives.
