Hidden Item Effects You Didn't Know About - The Binding of Isaac Repentance 

the Mom's perfume item lets you break the Tears soft cap as it's actually not a Tears Up, but one of the few Tears Delay Down items. Functionally the same, your fire rate will still increase, but as it's not a Tears Up, it's not affected by the cap.

An even less known effect of Book of Secrets is that it can do the Shiny Rock effect in the room you used it in. So it can possibly find crawlspaces. I presume the reason it went unnoticed for so long is because the effect of Shiny Rock wasn't even functional in Repentance until relatively recently.

1. Charm of the vampire makes your character not reflect in mirrored surfaces (downpowr floor for example) 2. If technology 2 being picked up by Cain or character with a stapler he will shoot only with tech laser. 3. Midas touch reduces Ultra Greed boss armor by 25% and makes poops spawned by any character effects have chance to become golden one.

Mom's heels on Tainted Maggie is almost S tier, because you get the hug damage AND the heel damage every time, but I believe the heel damage can kill some enemies before the hug can, meaning you don't get the guaranteed heart from the enemy.

It wasn't actually stomp immunity it was that the stomps used to be considered an explosion

Fun fact about book of revelations: you will always get conquest instead of death on floor 4, making it so that you spend many years of your life grinding out the most boring task until you give up

Should've mentioned that Book of Revelations doesn't spawn a horseman in the alt floors!

you couldve mentioned about the reverse devil card being able to one shot mom as well, or how host hat can also block projectiles coming from above

If i recall, the book of revelations also doesnt make a horseman spawn if a special boss room layout was already generated on the floor. i.e Fred, Double trouble boss fights, Geidon/the Shell unless they changed that effect in repentance, but maybe give it a test

The thing is, mom actually dies from the book when you use it, because if you watch one of the endings, a book fell on mom's head, and it was that book

A couple suggestions for the next one: * Book of Belial grants a damage multiplier in addition to the damage up if you're holding Blood if the Martyr. * Black Candle removes the teleport effect from Cursed Eye. * Night Light removes Curse of Darkness when picked up, and removes the visual effect if it happens on a later floor (effectively removing the curse). * Glaucoma makes the screen slightly darker. * Shade will cause Isaac to deal contact damage after its been destroyed. That damage is increased by BFFS. * Stapler causes you to only shoot out of one eye, causing the same minor rule changes that affect Cain. * Hive Mind increases the size and damage of fly and spider familiars, just like BFFS (it doesn't stack with BFFS sadly). * If a second copy of Brimstone is picked up, it gains a more powerful beam and unique costume. Each subsequent Brimstone is just a damage up. * Each copy of Crystal Key you're holding will increase the chance of getting a Red Room, up to 100% at 5 keys. * Glass Eye has a unique costume where both eyes are replaced if two copies are obtained, although no other benefits.

The flames from red candle, blue candle, bird's eye, and ghost pepper can also be used to destroy shopkeepers.

I know that hot bombs does not make you immune to mega Satan's fires. Now that I know pyromanic make you immune to fire I wonder if that work against mega Satan's fires

Mom's Locket turns all half red heart pickups into full red heart pickups. I learned this on a Tainted Maggie run and it was a crazy powerful combo.

By the way, if you have Curse of the Lost and use Book of Shadows, it will istantly give you the I can see forever effect. Also, it will skip the mapping effects you already have (Map, Compass, Blue Map), so combined with The Mind for example, it's a guaranteed ICSF each floor!

Hey i found a bug i cant seem to find anywhere else on the internet. But i was playing tainted isaac and got ludo with moms knife and dropped the item. But when i would enter a room that was the same size (xl rooms didnt work) the knifes from ludo would still be there and deal damage. Edit the additional knives from twisted pair and conjoined were still in place where i had left it before

Me, with almost two thousand hours in the game over several years: I bet I already know all of these, seems like a fun watch to test it though And then I didn’t! I had *no* idea that Book of Secrets opened secret rooms, or that Abel did more damage with Cain - those are all such great touches! :D Does that mean with the Mind, the book is just free secret rooms every floor? (Also, whatever you did to spawn the items and enemies you want right on cue was amazing! Was that a mod, or some tricks with the debug console?)

Not a very useful one but the tech 1 laser beam scales infinitely in size with damage, it doesn't cap out

Something about lucky foot it also increases chances of winning at slot machines and fortune tellers, however on hard mode fortune tellers do not get this increased bonus

Extension cord is busted in multiplayer, if the player without the trinket dies the player baby can just sit at the opposite end of the room as the alive player and it will just shred everything.

I'm sure you've got this comment already but in case you haven't, At 2:50 when describing Lucky Foot's interaction with pills, you described it as "Converts all pills to have either positive or negative" when it's actual positive or neutral. Also butterbeans damage is from collisions not the initial knockback.
