Secret spots, especially Shibuya. I do the Street Kart tours and people ask me for recommendations all the time; it's so hard to know everywhere so these vids help me give people good advice.
Coming to Japan in April 2020. Definitely adding this place to my list and those pancakes to my mouth! Keep finding these fantastic places. My family now has a Paolo foods to try list in Japan. It’s a really long list! Looking forward to your next find
@@shelovechan Some foreigners youtubers living there don't like to show where every restaurants they go in are. Cuz some are small typicall ones, where all is in japanese and have their own same clients. Somr tourists may make a mess. We don't know who's watching the video
Jonarez I get that. As a Japanese American who lives in New York CityThey are places I wouldn’t tell people about in social media.But also I’ve worked in restaurants where they we’re not making much money because it was only locals and they needed more outside people to come in. I understand both points why are you would keep a secret and why you would put it on the Internet. I think with the pandemic Some businesses aren’t going to survive. Especially in major cities that require tourism like Tokyo or New York City. Now more than ever I think once tourism starts again it may help businesses who are struggling you know.Also Paulo Makes his income by doing videos like this. Some businesses have been saved during the pandemic because of things like RU-vid videos and Tiktoks. showing how cool they are. 😊
My husband is Japanese but we live in the US. So every time we go to Tokyo to visit his parents, he has to ask people where to go. So it is nice to see these recommendations, thanks!

We were nervous about going and not having anything planned, but I have been watching your videos everyday, and it has been so helpful! Love your videos! You should continue doing these short videos. You never know when we're going to Japan, so having them out sooner rather than later is better! Awesome, as always!
I love the secret spots! I don't do well in super crowded places & we have only a few days in Tokyo so it's been hard to find places in Tokyo proper that I feel comfortable visiting & we have enough time to see!
LOVEEEE the Secret Spot videos!! We went to Happy Pancake in Shibuya... LOVE those pancakes.. We had Peach jelly and whipped cream this summer in Aug!! YUMMMM!! Also, we went to the one in Kyoto!

I love chicken and waffles. You know, I'm 51 years old now, and I've lived in the (deep) south all of my life. From Florida to Alabama, to north Louisiana..... and it wasn't until about 10 years ago that I FINALLY found out about chicken and waffles! They said it was a real "southern" dish, created in Mississippi, by a black couple who owned a restaurant.... they would end up with leftover chicken, and they'd serve it with waffles for breakfast, I think? Well, it's relatively new to me, and I love it! Chicken and waffles in Japan? Now that is amazing!
What I always liked about being in Japan is that they have niche foods that are international delights and they make them their own by perfecting it and making it held to a higher standard even the basic pancake 😉 keep up the greatness Paolo 💖

We were just in Shibuya! This would have been great to try. We loved Happy Pancakes but not Flippers when compared to Happy! Thanks for all the helpful info before our trip!
