Ahhhh I know this place! Passed it a few times before meandering right off the path and there it was. We parked the bikes up on beach and made camp right there. Amazing spot 👌 nice to keep it a secret. Great video and music 🎶
Nice on Eddie , looked a nice little lochan to overnight on . That bothie was a compact and bijou lol . Looking forward to seeing the hardcore winter stuff atb Dave
I'm liking the secret series already Eddie. I listened to it all and glanced up as I wrote notes for my 10 day wye walk next week. It's nice to listen. It certainly was still - still enough for Marks snore to come through. Ha ha! Yeah great place - almost sacred. Well, it is without the chavs. All the best up there. Mark
Hi Mark hope you are well, I had several months off youtube and I'm just getting back to uploading. Not been watching my regular viewing channels TBH but I'll get back on it. Enjoy your long walk I tune in to that. ATB.
Nice one Eddie, good to see you out again, it's lovely part of the world. Glad you never had a fire near the old pines, too nice a spot to leave fire pits too. ND filters, I need to get some of them too. 👍🏻
There was a fire pit on the beach Robin personally I would never make a fire unless it was an emergency. Alot of people see a fire as an essential part of the trip I'm not one of them. Yeah beginning to get the trips now hopefully we're all allowed to camp from now on. Get bigger trips started again soon and then the big dogs wildcamping... WINTER SUMMITS. ATB.
@@ScotsWildcamper I suppose the beach is okay, easy to clean up after yourself, it's laziness. I totally agree though, fires aren't essential. Looking forward to seeing what you get up to. If you're doing any weekend trips let me know. 😁
Smashin video and camp, looks a great place for solitude and thoughts, oh and no Petromax or One Tigris all the way through like the garmin campers lol
Well done Eddie no been up there for ages last time was when i bagged the "secret Munro" directly above the "secret bothy" at 16:45 lol! Got my first free time yesterday in months and went for a hike from the Linn of Dee way up to the far end of Glen Derry and it nearly done me in could only mange about 15 miles in total fitness is away to buggery lol! Cheers for sharing this as its a stunning area up there, peter :)
Peter please keep it a secret lol, anything that makes it a wee bit harder for the Neds to turn everything in to a shithole is worth it. I be going oug with Billy soon so I find oot how unfit I am then.
What an incredible place Eddie, best to keep it secret as possible. The huge old trees on the hike in were really something! Wonderful views and it would be great to see it in winter. Hard frost predicted for us tonight. I've been seeing flocks of geese heading south and the songbirds have been gone for several weeks now. On my hike today a red squirrel was eating and stashing mushrooms. Take care, Ossie
Its a mini heatwave here Ossie , well in Scottish terms! We having several nice days unfortunately i'm working. Saw my first red squirrel on this trip it ran across the road , thankfully we didn't hit it. Should be getting a summit camp done soon that'll test me legs i've done very little real hiking this year. ATB to you and you's ED.
Hi Eddie. I hope you get some snow this winter. Hard white frost here this morning, all the roofs were white as well as the lawns. That cold air is get for looking at the stars and Orion was bright in the southeast. How those red squirrels know which mushrooms are edible is a mystery to me, I asked the red squirrel but he wouldn't say. Hope your knees hold up on your summit camp and the weather is kind, go easy. Take care, Ossie
Nice one Eddie, not visited that wee lochan yet but your footage of it looks fantastic! Now you've got your lighting guy, you'll soon have full camera crew, makeup artists and everything heading out with you soon 😄 Great vid, cheers! Kris.
wouldent mind camping there is there fish in that loch ? currently looking for places where i can camp at and get bit of trout fishing when season starts
Good looking wee bothy and lochan/puddle. The problem I have with my camera Eddie is it doesn't seem to pick up anything once its dark, so any filming I do? has to be done in daylight or around a campfire.
It’s a stunning looking little loch, passed it a couple years back when I did the Munro away up to right of it, not the bothy path the one leading right 😉🤫🤭
Scots Wildcamper if you take the right fork you can camp near a bridge at a river if I mind right it’s bowling green type grass at that section 🤔 but it’s a few miles in
Hi Eddie 👋. I reckon you were right not to have a fire mate,it's tinder dry up there at the moment. And I've never seen that "secret" little lochs water level as low as that either! I love that part of Scotland m8, it's as near to pristine as you can find on the mainland. When's the next trip planned and where you going buddy? Atvb 👍
P.s. I asked where the next trip was going to be before your vid finished! And you went on to talk about the next couple of trips.....🤦♂️ oh well,if I hadn't of asked I bet you'd not of said...😆.
Nice wee break and days off guys I see Mark enjoying his Vape . feel better . fine beach camp /kick back !! good shots as ever Eddie and Sinclairs Music !!..Bastardo team !! Too riitte !!😀😀
I understand not mentioning the location but when I see pathways like that it’s almost a certain that it’s a popular spot anyways not my taste, I go for solitude 👌
that loch looks devolved of all fish life watched close not one trout jumping perhaps man made from quarrying and ph far to high ????????? great weee vid guys
Galloway forest Park is the largest forest in Scotland and the UK. Trossachs is another large forested area. Scotland is a small country but very sparsely populated apart from the central belt. I would say the North-West of Scotland is the most remotest it's also my favourite area.
I am new subscriber Arabic lady citizen thank you for showing us such magnificent landscapes beauty of nature you as guide tourist encourage us to read information about places you visited we as foreigners subscribers enjoy to explore places unknown to us as overseas students iwish for your channel more progress and success stay safe blessed good luck to you your dearest ones
Keep it secret. Coming from a londoner with family in girvan . Been travelling up Scotland all my life to see my family. There is nothing like this in England left my friend. Hold on to it. Shhhh
Glad to see you don’t show everyone the location, especially the bothies because as you said, you can attract the wrong people. I’ve seen too many youtubers showing all the locations. At least buy the bothy bible to support the cause.
Beautiful area Eddie, so the pyromaniac Derek who likes to have overly large fires is on the next trip, he needs to calm down with big fires, totally unnecessary, some of you lot need to advise him on smaller fire's.
Personally I could live without a fire Paul , no tree's up where I usually like to camp anyway. Only ever made one fire myself that was on a beach. A small controlled fire is nice to gather round TBH. I hate seeing numerous firescars in a tiny area totally moronic. ATB. p. s. I pass it on to Derek but I'm in a minority about the fires
