From the 1880’s to 1911 Queensland had it’s own navy ant to this day many of these ships are hidden around Brisbane. IN THIS VIDEO I WILL SHOW WHERE THEY ARE!!!!
have you heard of the SS Dorrigo? it was wrecked of the coast of the double island point lighthouse in 1926. she has not been found yet but she is anywhere in wide bay. when she sank the captain and his son were the only ones to live as the others were eaten by tiger sharks, thanks for the awesome videos 😁
Great vid. There is a decent wreck at the northern end of the mangrove boardwalk at Wynnum north that's next to an old Miden heap/island in the mangroves. Apparently it's the site of an aboriginal camp from back in the day. I've walked out a couple of times, once with the kids to have a look and pick up rubbish. But I can't seem to find much about it. Might be an interesting video if you don't mind a bit of mud. It would be great to see if any stories about it find there way into the comments.
Yes I am quite familiar with the boat you mentioned. Alas I also found it very difficult to find any information on it. However what I did find out when doing research on this vessel is that in Wynnum there used be a problem with people dumping boats that they didn’t want anymore. Actually fun fact regarding the boat you mentioned is it was in one of my shorts it’s called “Brisbane bay of shipwrecks?” And the one in the thumbnail is one that can be found about a 1 and a half kms up through the mudflats going north of there. Whilst cool to look at, when I got back to my car I had mud EVERYWHERE. I even had it in my hair 😂
@@breathedeepandseekadventur7302 I asked an old Wynnum resident about it, and he claims someone lived on it after it was marooned. Anyway, great videos, you have inspired me to record more of my exploits. Hit me up if you are looking for someone to explore with.
Bishop Island was never where they are indicating it to be in this video. Bishop Island is actually buried under Patricks Container wharf on the Brisbane River over two klms away.
Noooo ... I lived there ... I know exactly where it was. Bishop Island was right at the intersection of Bishop Drive and Port Drive. @@breathedeepandseekadventur7302
