Thank you so much for showing us your sewing machine process. I could be wrong. But it seems like you’re always going off to sew, then coming back with the finished product. I loved seeing the process. I loved the constant wrong direction. I caught myself following along with you (in my mind only) and when you’d say, “Oh no! I did it again!”, I’d look at it and then I remembered you wanted a side direction. Lol. Such a fun video. Can’t wait to do a snippet roll too.

A suggestion: To get the netting off the inner spine, you could try ripping out 10 or 15 pages at a time to loosen the spine. Keep ripping out 10 or 15 pages until the spine is more workable. Of course, it will depend on the age of the book, the type of paper, and it may just be a job for the craft knife!

Love these!! I was giggling (and trying hard to tell you to turn it "sideways") the whole time! I think you kept forgetting because the words on the book page seem to dictate the direction....I would do that too! They look great both vertically and horizontally!

Such fun paper clips. Now I feel like just making scraps! I only use the top down gluing method because if I take them all off I cannot ever remember how I had them organized. The other night I spent a whole baseball game (3+ hours) fussy cutting all of the birds, butterflies, and flowers from your shop. I love them!

I was yelling, “stop, turn it sideways”! But your laughter makes it all so much better!! You would have loved what I did yesterday: I had some coffee dyed ribbon on the side of my table, just waiting for a good place. In the meantime I stamped something in red & used a wet wipe to clean my fingers & stamp off. Went off in another tangent & came back to find my ribbon now with splashes of pink from the wet wipe!! It’s kind of cool, I think I’ll send you some! Of course if I try to make that happen, it won’t ever work again! Haha! I thought of you & knew you would be giggling! It got to 96 today & you were talking about snow! Thanks for a nice little technique, I think I could do this! Take care, Barbara!

Barbara that was so fun! When you were making your third one I was screaming “No, don’t glue it! Side ways, it needs to go side ways!” Lol! 🤣 They are absolutely gorgeous! And so simple! I just might have to give it a try! I really liked that you used book pages and how cool that you kept spine scraps! They are so cool!!!

I’m so happy. I separated my scraps by color and book pages. I love torn edges as well!! Oh perfect had not thought of roughing up the edges that are too narrow to tear!

I love these and the fact that the possibilities are endless. I have watched it a couple times and I was screaming at you on the third hidden paper clip you did vertically, but you didn't hear me. I have made some and I think it is good to have lots of different embellishments on hand. I think I may be the queen of mass making things!! Good job.
