Bianca and Cheren walking with hilda and then walking with Nate hit me hard, since we known those two goobers since they first got their first pokemon.

It would be really cool if these characters they showed as the "main characters" were the protags for Gen 9. They give off Gen 5 vibes, maybe its the crazy hair or something. This video was extremely well done, thank you for putting the time in to analyze this frame by frame for the community. My favorite moment was probably the transition from Hilda to N to Hilbert. Black and White were my favorite games, and they hold so much emotion for me.

2 things: First, I think the main characters of the music video is a shout out to the two protags from Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee. Second: Back when they showcased all the trainers and their main types, when the boy character got his face smashed by the metal pan, Pikachu fell off of his head, and when the girl character ran and jumped off at the end with the Flying types, Eevee falls off.

Old video, but I rewatched Acacia again for the feels, and the lyrics hit so hard even if there's not a single reference to Pokémon. The movement of the animation and the timing of the lyrics also mean a whole lot, it's insane how much work was put into each frame of that video. It's why I love Pokémon so much as a series, it's immaculate. Fun fact, the reason why Blue has Venusaur is that Japan's release of the original games was actually Red and Green, and his name was Green in those games. Also, at the beginning of the MV (0:28 in this vid) you can see a character behind the male MC- that's Rie Matsumoto, the director of the video! You also see her during the end credits, although it's from behind the couch this time. It's a nice nod to how much work she, as well as all of the animators at BONES INC, put into this video.

My favorite moment has to be that the video didn't spoil the B2/W2 Champion. In every main Pokemon game I was always knew who the champion was by either the game telling you or just by simple context. But in my White 2, I never figured it out until I was face to face with the Champion. Truly an amazing video.

Gotta love how Ingo and Emmet went from “minor characters” to suddenly becoming such a *huge* deal for a lot of non-Japanese fans since “Legends: Arceus” came out. With this music video in context they had a huge spike in popularity in only a year! Makes you wonder what Game Freak has planned for them and this ongoing “Faller” plot line they’ve been hinting at for the past few generations.

The reason why Blue has Venusaur, its because his original name is GREEN and japanese people grew up with GREEN, which is why Blue(official girl name in the Japanese Manga version) dosent exist. Leaf in other hand is the LeafGreen girl. GameFreak gave Blue(Girl) the name Leafgreen, not pure green, because GREEN, has already this official name. They did it, because westerners would not accept original and prefer nostalgia. Why do you think, GREEN has green pants and shoes as an adult in the Moon and Sun games? They had a chance to remade the name for the westerners. Let Green be green forever. But not even after LeafGreen the western Translator would accept the Rival be Green. Multiple chances to correct the name was refused over nostalgia and because they thought, we Poke fans are too stupid to think, that Green came before blue and with that the Rival is named Green. Hell, even the Series Pokemon Origin made it more sence with Green. Professor Oak asked his niece, if he wanted to choose for Bulbasauf because his name is Green. In the english dub Oak said, Choose Bulbasaur because you ove nature. Bullshit! Even here they refused the orivinal GREEN NAME!

It’s not perfect but when they’re going through the types you might notice the next type is super effective against the previous type. Funny enough, the sequence breaks at fairy type 😜 and comes back at normal type. Water, electric, ground, ice, fire, rock, grass, poison, psychic, ghost, dark, bug, fairy, dragon, steel, normal, fighting, flying.
