I must’ve watched hundreds of van builds. This gentleman has it down pat! Thought of everything. He is obviously very well educated in this industry. And I love how he incorporates the yachting world into his van bills. They complement each other very well

However, when he said Sam was just going to use kitty litter, I figured it was not going to be toilet for day to day use, but rather only for emergencies. If that's the case, then making it your ottoman is a good way to make it useful when not "in use".

@@cn9630. Do you do your work for free? You want good, you gotta pay or do it yourself. If you can’t do it yourself then you get some one cheap who will stop in😅 the middle of the van? I am retired now, but when I worked I did a good job for a good days pay. You can do it yourself? GO AHEAD! Do it yourself. When you are installing electric stuff you want to have someone who knows whst their doing cause get out a million miles from no place and nothing works then you’ll be mad.

He really thinks through everything when building these. He has access to anything that he might need to fix or upgrade. I don't want to say simple for the things he does, because that doesn't sound right, but it's so well thought out with all the materials that it seems "simple" and yet very aestheticly pleasing. It's a work of art. And knowing his background you can tell he takes that eye for video and photography and uses it in his builds. I know nothing is perfect, but this is about as close as you can come.

I watched many van travel videos so far, each time I was impressed by the comfort and beauty of each of them. However, without a doubt, this van built is the best and most thoughtful I've seen. It really puts in the thoughts, necessities and client's needs into one tiny van. To me, that is an impressive achievement and mastery of the builder themselves. I very much would have felt more safer and reliable on the road if I live in this guy's van. I wish to see more videos in the future too :)

The shower and toilet design are genius! All that space is available for other activities when not taking a shower. The toilet is a foot stool or seat most of the time. The shower curtain stored behind the armoire and the drain pan extending below it solve so many problems. Love the whole approach to the windows, inside and out. Designing the build so that all systems can be accessed for repairs or changes is such a good thing.

Ditto, love the design with the swivel drivers seat. HOWEVER, one more addition for that area would be a seat for a third passenger. Get a seatbelt attachment and refigure the litter removal. Personally I love the open feeling it allows

My wife and I watch these TV shows for fun and to go to sleep by and now we want a custom one by this dude as he thought of everything. He's like a Dad..."now I know you want a Fiero b/c they're neat looking but you'll have a fire and it will break so then what? Let me build you a cool sports car that will actually work for you okay?" I have full confidence that this guy eats drinks sleeps conversions and really truly listens to the client. My favorite are the hidden shover, the bed for movie nights and hidden window coverings that aren't taking any extra space. Wow..I am 71 next month. Tired of working. Limited funds when I retire. Conserved how to live solo off grid a bit. Knowledge is powerful. For me I need to maintain comfort safety least amount of mechanical issues. This is very detailed. I love the entire set up minus microwave. I WOULD USE SPACE FOR MY SENIOR CAT. Congratulations, what a beautiful build! The woodwork and details are very special. Your thoughts regarding opening the space of the bath is ingenious. Villeroy and Boch has a wooden bench with a hidden toilet within, something that could be a great solution for the toilet so it is not seen. The adjustable bed, wow! And the attention to lighting is so important. This is a dream van.

Would love to see George's take on a weekend camper built out with simplified water and electrics infrastructure . Cargo on week days with water and electrics tucked away safely and roll out and install the modules for the weekend with plug and play for his clever 80\20 sturdy modules. His fastidious head and eye for detail would do it with real style.

Gorgeous, well thought out build. I'd only ask for a few more things, a slide out table from the rear, and the ability to set-up a hammock. Maybe an outdoor shower curtain and a more disguised toilet in the seating area and perhaps a swingout mirror rather than the need to remove it to access the shower faucet. Other than that, an absolute triumph!!!!

I am so glad that he started on the inside. Many van videos go around the outside with incredible detail before showing the inside. There was so much inside this build that was creative, ingenious, and so well crafted! I don't want to see what's on the outside if I don't like what the inside layout is. Usually I won't finish the video because I don't really like what's inside. I watched this entire video!
