Since I retired I’ve become fascinated by illuminated texts and letters . This was a tremendous amount of information. It will help a lot in my quest for better understanding. Thank you! 😊👋🏼
Thank you, this was fascinating to me! I love art and history. I've always questioned why so many portraits seem to have the same face in 1500-1700s (?) even in the same painting from the parents down to all of the children - just smaller versions. This is like our modern cut & paste to me and not original. They hair may be different, but it's the same face. Am I the only one who thinks that way?
Good question, i think oftentimes it's something that happens when different artist are all trying to obtain the same set of specific style marks which result in similarities in their art 😊 glad you liked the video, thanks for watching! 👌 Laz
