Hidden Valley Preserve 4/16/ 24 

One of three excellent hiking areas in the town of Washington, CT.
On this four mile loop we crossed the Shepaug River twice on impressive bridges, passed through an old quartz mine, and ascended to the Pinnacle lookout.
