Since I said you can't find these places on google maps, here are some locations on the google map. Trái cây lắc (Fruit seller) - goo.gl/maps/4e... Coffee shop - goo.gl/maps/PS... Hủ tiếu dì hai - goo.gl/maps/Fx...
Good looking , charming talk, friendly manner, understanding Vietnamese language, respecting the culture, no wonder he wins the heart of almost Vietnamese people
I love it when you include side quests and mini excursions outside your main mission. Sharing yourself getting that coffee and then getting lost was fun.
I'm truly impressed by food enthusiast exploring Vietnam while also speaking Vietnamese fluently. It's quite remarkable. That young green mango you tried, Max, pairs perfectly with fish sauce and sugar. The blend of flavors is incredible - the sweet and sour notes from the mango complemented by the sweet and salty elements of the fish sauce. And that satisfying crunch from the young mango adds a delightful texture. It's undoubtedly one of the finest dishes to savor in Vietnam. Finding green mangoes in North America is quite a challenge. They're somewhat akin to candy apples in terms of taste. Your Vietnamese language skills are truly exceptional, Max; they make me wonder if you were raised by a Vietnamese mother who nurtured you with fish sauce throughout your upbringing. Your video is fantastic, bro!"
This video reminds me of early, pre-pandemic Max style videos. I enjoy all of your videos, but you going around, vlogging and showcasing 2-3 spots per video is what I missed the most from your channel.
I recently watched your and Chris’s video where u gave away some food to the street cleaners! That was a great video seeing you guys give back to the country and people you both love so much 💕
Good memories of staying in District 4 when I was in Saigon, so many places to eat and hidden gems.. I can't remember where it was, but I had one of the best bánh mì there. It had cold meats as well as bò lá lốt inside, which i thought was an amazing touch.. so good 😊
You always get new address of Foods. Thank you that I know all of food shops, restaurants and a lot of others foods along the road side that I 've never know. from you. I hope one I get back Viet Nam I will find those address to enjoy. Thank you Max Have a good appetizing and happiness
People are more open and friendly when it’s just you and the GoPro ❤ I’ve only ever been around district 1, but seeing you explore other districts inspires me to be more adventurous. I’ve been saving videos and made a list of places to visit thanks to you 😊 Can’t wait for my next trip to VN! 🎉
If you're comfortable in district 1, you can feel comfortable in any place in Vietnam. There are practically no difference in crime level among the districts of Ho Chi Minh city, or among the provinces of Vietnam. There certainly are areas that look more run down, but they are not dangerous at all. A few decades ago, district 4 and 8 used to be very dangerous because it's the hide out of the mafia gang Nam Cam. But after their organization was destroyed by the police, now those two districts are just as safe as district 1. Same level of petty crimes and violent crimes and traffic accidents, etc.
Hello Max. Staying up late tonight and your fun video show up on my phone. That special noodle( My Tho) it's the town where's my Mother from. It's true they're known for one best type rice noodle. My childhood memories instilled in me...😊🍜
Ah Max, you entered my territory! J/K :D. I lived there for quite some times, more than 10 years, in Q4. There used to be slumps and swamps with many gangs. Starting mid 90s, the city started rebuilding Q4, new bridges, new streets, new buildings. The alley where you ate Hu Tiu My Tho used to be very dangerous, as Ton Dan itself and its alleys. It looks much nicer now in your video.
this reminds me of my home country. we have similar “fruit salads” sold on the street. can’t wait to visit vietnam and go to the places you and chris eat at
So crazy dude , it's me Tommy lol the basketball team manager lmao bro I had no clue you are going all over the world and huge on RU-vid so crazy someone from poyen made awesome for you bro really happy for you!
The best spots are never on google maps you have to find them yourselves! Nothing better than when you discover a legendary street food spot here in Vietnam! 🇻🇳
Street vendors' vids are always my fav. Support them whenever we can. I do here in the States whenever I am in the office around the Boston financial district. Good food though.
Godd,Max until now you’re same as southern people with typical ascent so cute.May you spent a lot of love for Saigon and area surround this city, love all your videos.Especially in Mekong delta,I really enjoyed it,how friendly people in this place, thanks max!!!!
Here are some Vietnamese food you should try out Com Sườn Nướng, Bun Thit Nuong, Bánh cuốn, Nem Nướng Cuon (Spring Roll), Bò Lúc Lắc, Bánh Xèo, Bánh mì, Pho Tai Chín, Bún Bò Huế, Thit Kho.
12:56 Not Max spelling his name "M A C". 😂 Knowing that Vietnamese folks tend to ignore the s and x, he's been so adapting and accommodating to the Vietnamese pronunciation.
Wow stumbled on this channel and am impressed. Never noticed a link to this on Daily Max, and wish I had as this channel is far more interesting. With respect the Indian videos are very repetitive and overexposed with so many vloggers covering the same content, and the ones with Chris also filming, interacting and I have to say constantly staring at you with puppy love eyes are distracting. This content is far more original, spontaneous and engaging. 👏👏👏👏👏
There's a new place in D7 selling Banh canh (crab/shrimp/abalone) that is sooooo good. It's called Ghien Banh Canh. I tried the other day the tangy sweet broth with delicate kumquat dipping sauce on the side. I'm a D7 resident, never like Saigon banh canh until I had that bowl. D7 has many cheap as well as expensive/exotic eats.
One of my favorite Videos!!!!❤ Love fruits. When it’s too spicy try to drink a yogurt drink, cools the stomach. To all the singles/ ladies. Don’t we all just love Max, when he smiles 🥰. Max, you are too good for this earth, maybe this is why your single 😅. Take care and get home safe 🥰✌️.
For a while I was getting worried as you seemed to be taking every correct street/alley....but Mr. McFarlin is Mr. McFarlin and you didn't let me down hehehe!
Hoan nghinh Max , biết ăn mắm ruốc với xoài là hết xẩy đó nha . Like cho Max và cho cô bán hàng , toàn món ngon thời thơ ấu cuả tui không hà . Sốt me ngon lắm . Người miền Nam hay dùng me làm mứt , ngào đường và nấu canh chua hay nấu chung trong món bún gỏi dà , một món rất ngon cuả miền Tây .
Hey M squared, I grow and sell peaches here in Little Saigon. All the Asians love to eat the crunchy peaches. We all sprinkle it with Tajin or muoi ot. Ngon thanks for posting chef John in Oklahoma City.
Hi Max, I hope you don't get offended for saying this but next time when you eat bowl of dry noodles and if there's a dish of broth you can take one or two spoons of broth and add it to dry noodles to loosen it up a little bit.
Here in Los Angeles, 🥭Jumbo Mangos are the same price $1. $1.26 for Hu Tieu?!.. Wow That noodle bowl would cost me $13.75 USD (before tax/tip) at this new Vietnamese Restaurant in town... 11x times more expensive... 🙃
The lady selling all that fruit she's an artist, She gave it to you for free because a lot of content creators came and made videos about her helping her business be super busy all the time. Never heard of anyone selling out fruit around 5 o'clock in Vietnam
