Now looking back at Dreamworks created their films actually inspires me since I watched HTTYD 1 and 2. Helped me alot to create my art work for college, this is one of the most iconic films out there as an animation film.

I live extremely close to Waitomo. I've never been there but I hear it's STUNNING. There is also something interesting that happens in the morning. All of the surrounding springs steam up and give the appearance of fog. It's beautiful there!

Me: *casually waiting for HTTYD3 to be on netflix* Also Me: *see's this and quietly squeals with the mention and everything that looks so much like Burk*

I never got a chance to see The Hidden World when it came out in theaters. However, I managed to buy a DVD of that movie along with Godzilla: King of the Monsters. I was kinda sad to see Hiccup and the rest of Berk part ways with Toothless and the other dragons but I eventually knew that that was going to happen at some point given that it is common to sometimes have to say goodbye to those we're close to regardless of how hard that is. As for me, I'm grateful that the franchise exists as I have been fascinated with dragons ever since I was a little kid.

Even though I have a fear of flying on planes, I have now added visiting New Zealand's Waitomo Cave to my bucket list. That was absolutely stunning. I have always loved caves, and have only been on a few guided tours ( I would never dare go all-out spelunking). This cave, and the ability to safely explore it, is the most spectacular and spiritual that I have seen. All I can say is...WOW

The fact that HTTYD are some of his fav movies of all time makes me super happy.

This movie series is so important to me. It’s the only movie series for kids I can think of with a disabled protagonist. Plus who doesn’t want a dragon? If I had a series like this when I was growing up I think it would have really helped change the way I saw myself. Usually I’m not a fan of such blatant paid promotion, but the balance in this seems pretty good. Excellent photography of the glow worms as well.

It’s sad to see what happened to this channel. The moment they decided to reupload videos, the majority of the fanbase dropped it, because there weren’t any new episodes, and nothing seemed to be happening that they could see. Many also disliked the team’s move to Animal Planet, and eventually even dedicated fans stopped showing up to new videos. We have to go all the way back to the lion video to find a video over a million views. Combine that with more advertising and sponsorships and actual click bait beginning to crop up, and new subscribers dry up, old ones leave, and that leaves BW in the position Smosh was in 2017; bringing in survivable and more or less consistent views from a much depleted fanbase, while new fans drip in slowly, as criticism of their shift towards a more commercial and family-friendly genericism erodes their once good fans. They drop off trending, and rarely return again to anything close to their heights and critical and popular acclaim from only a year or two prior. Some of the videos, of course, are still good and criminally underrated, but the channel as a whole is being crippled and will limp along until a big shake-up brings fans back into the fold. I hate that it’s come to this point that I barely watch BW any more, but it’s magic and presentation has drained away.
