📊 WHAT IS POWER BI?
Power BI is a business analytics tool by Microsoft. It creates a working environment suited for normal users, meaning tasks such as data extraction, cleansing, analysis and storytelling; these are made easily-accessible to citizen-users, and extendable for technical users. At face value it provides visually-stunning, interactive dashboards, but it’s built on top of so much more.

Can we customize the error message in visual ? its better replace with "You dont have access" instead of something went wrong

Hey Syed, unfortunately i've not found a way to do so. The method seems to simply assume that the object doesnt exist which probably is by design. If I find a way I will come back to you

Thanks Fernan. Out of topic, I would like to get all the properties and it's values that is made available in a Power BI theme file. This is to maintain a theme file that could control all the visuals in reports in a easy way. Let me know if you have any reference to it. Thank you.

Hi there, I would use a third-party to manage your themes, something like this: themes.powerbi.tips/

Hi Fernan, thank you for your suggested solution. I've published a model with this feature and i've shared it with a person who has viewer rights. I gave this user also the implemented RLS rights. Problem now is that my end-user can only see 'Something went wrong', where I expected to also see the possibility to select 'Fix this'. Then they would be able to see the table, but with one of the columns removed. Is there a possibility to set this up?

Yeah, this date privacy and anonymisation hasn't been dealt with by Microsoft. I have to rely on custom security by obscurity to hide sensitive numbers from different people.

disappointing this cant be done out of the box and needs tabular editor. still very cool and hopefully microsoft bring it out in power bi natively.
