Yes, he does with the outfit and the Gibson SG doubleneck. AWESOME song here nonetheless. Lots going on on the guitar front and you can hear that lots better than in the studio version. hide's vocals are excellent here too. Lovin' it!
Wow...this is not somebody who would have committed suicide. He was obviously full of energy, live, and vigor, and was enjoying himself in this clip. Excellent song, too, lots of character and very catchy! I'd expect no less of a talent like his, though. So sad he had to leave us so soon.
Pata!! :D hide's Spread Beavers are the shit...I saw them at the memorial summit, so fucking amazing! Too bad they didn't play this song - this clip is an especially good one!
i dont think so, because the song is about encouragement to stay free of all problems? XD but then he did meet that girl who needed a marrow transplant, she's a big fan of him =D
I'm not questioning Hide's talent in the slightest, I'm just saying that I much prefer the material he recorded with X Japan to his solo stuff/side projects.
Sorry but I disagree. hide had more talent than the other members of X Japan put together. I am a huge X Japan fan but hide made them more than they could have ever been. His talent, flair, flamboyance and artistry puts him far and above X Japan and like I said, I think X Japan is great. Waiting for them to come back to L.A.
