I cant imagine how she felt when she heard that Hide die on May 2nd 1998. She must be devastated. But now she join Hide in the heaven above. And I bet she is happy now. RIP HIDE & MAYUKO

***** Indeed, their story touched me on emotional level so hard...especially what happened with Toshi, and of course hide. I've only found out about them like 3 months ago, but I already feel so much for them. It's incredible. And you can only imagine how hard it was to find them...my country barely imports overseas music, not to mention it doesn't import any from Japan, and Internet was not a thing until like 10 years ago and it was new...so it went from me being a guitar player, then becoming interested in Japanese culture, then starting to learn Japanese, and then I accidentally stumbled across a Japanese guitar player who had covered X...and that's when I was hooked. The first live video I've seen was "Endless Rain" from The Last Live, then I found out that hide is dead, then I learned about what that woman did to Toshi...their story is so sad, yet I'm so glad I've found out about them. Seeing them being happy again in 2015 videos from Lunatic fest makes me happy too. The only thing that makes me sad that I'm probably the only person in my country (Croatia) who knows about them .
Listening to this in 2020. hide's music is forever. I loved the person he was, he had a good heart and unlike many famous people wasn't too conceited about being famous. he left us way too soon. Rest in peace Pink Spider xxx

@@psychommunityy bom antes de eu me mudar pro litoral de SP , que aliais realmente por aqui so tem funkeiros , mais lá na regiao da liberdade, costumava a acumular bastante fãs de j rock ali proximo a estação , pelo menos entra meados de 2010~2011, hoje em dia deve ter só kpopero kkkk , mais ainda deve ter bastante fã de x japan tbm !!

Hide always looks carefree and happy when performing. I still don't understand why he did he die...at that time, i just got to know X-Japan....the first song i heard was Endless Rain...and the guitar solo is still the best ever in a rock ballad song.
I kinda just discovered Hide a few days ago (20 years after this song's release). I now have his Psyence album. Misery for some reason stuck out to me. The background behind not only the song, but Hide himself kinda saddens me. But it saddens me and yet inspires me. I don't know if that's understandable or not. This man's music is amazing though. And I can say that millions feel the same. Obviously for him to commit suicide, the pain and sorrow that he expressed in his music got the best of him. But what makes him more than just an artist is his ability to use that to bring happiness to others. May this Legend rest in peace.

He was truly an amazing man.. What he did for Mayuko touched me deeply when I saw that other video of their first(?) meeting. I don't need to tell anyone that I cried all through this video?! ;) It's sad to think that she also passed last year, but at least I'm sure that he waited for her to continue to look after her up there among the clouds. Rest in peace Mayuko and hide
every time i watch this i want to cry... hide is so amazing, mayuko lived till 2009... although it is so sad to know she is not alive... she has been experienced more in her life, she was so brave hide... do you know... it's too upset without you
